What is the best part of working at the company?
Working with Administration, teachers, high school students,and walk in public, downtown Catholic School Head Office. Great comfortable place to work,  warm friendly people

The job was not stressful, enjoyed every day, worked 32 yrs including Holy Cross High and E.D. Feehan

Working environment is healthy, easy going, friendly

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I was the duplicating clerk, ran all the machines, the last 3 years i was in front  office, answering telephone, working with administration, students needs, and the public walk ins.

Resume 8.30am, to close 3.10pm. Punctuality and job commitment- highly emphasized. All the required educational knowledge and skills needed for a K-G5 students and classroom management. 

Workplace culture is emphasis on FAMILY, DIVERSITY AND BONDING.

Hardest part was managing the unpredictable behavioral tendencies of some challenged students.

Most enjoyable part of the job is seeing positive and progressive development of the many students I tutored and being appreciated for a job well done.

Not sure what the children will be like or if the teacher will be organized with her lessons

Always nice to meet new teachers and most of them are very friendly and helpful

I usually work 1/2 days and it is spent helping kids learn

Progressive, forward thinking, respectful workplace. Very positive culture.

Trying to be as good a person as the people i worked with

Excellent. Respectful and progressive leadership.

I loved my work as I worked with students and their families  The hardest part of my job was saying good bye when I retired and moved out of the city/advocating and supporting their education and community programs. It was my dream job.

Used to be an amazing place but been going downhill the last 5 years... now it fell off a cliff. Understaffed, underpaid, not enough equipment, and the only feedback from management is the negative things. Extra work just keeps being downloaded onto staff instead of providing support. Toxic environment all around. 

Being a replacement teacher has been a great experience. I get to see different school and how they operate. I also like being a prefered sub at schools as well because I am familiar with the school, staff and students.

Always enjoyed being at work.  Never stopped learning about how to deal with all types of people and their expectations.  Working in the classroom environment was always different and exciting. Never a dull moment.

I love to work here because  if ever you learn something new you can apply it at your home. All the seniors caretakers are so helpful cooperative. They will teach you the right procedure on how to be a good caretaker.
