As a junior lawyer at Grillo Law, I can confidently say that it has been a great experience thus far. The company is dedicated to providing excellent legal services to its clients, and I am proud to be a part of such a team. 

The work culture is very supportive and collaborative, which has helped me grow both professionally and personally. My colleagues are knowledgeable and always willing to lend a helping hand whenever I need it. 

The senior lawyers are especially approachable and are always ready to mentor and guide me in the right direction. The company also provides excellent opportunities for professional development and growth. I have attended several training sessions and workshops that have helped me stay up-to-date with the latest legal developments and hone my skills. 

The management is fair and transparent in its dealings with employees, which has created a positive work environment. 

The company also takes the safety and well-being of its employees very seriously, which is evident from the various measures put in place to ensure a safe and healthy workplace.

 Overall, I am very satisfied with my experience at the firm  and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a career in law.


If you're looking for a supportive, collaborative environment, this is not the place for you. The office is dominated by a clear "mean girl" culture — cliques, gossip, exclusion, and passive-aggressive behavior are the norm. It often feels like high school, not a professional workplace.

Management doesn't just tolerate this behavior — they enable and sometimes participate in it. The manager in particular is deeply vindictive. Constructive feedback is not welcomed; if you speak up or disagree, you’re subtly (or not so subtly) punished. Favoritism runs rampant, and promotions or opportunities are based more on who you’re friendly with than the quality of your work.

There’s zero accountability at the leadership level, and HR does little to address complaints, likely because they fear retaliation too. Morale is low, turnover is high, and it’s clear that protecting egos matters more than supporting the team.

Unless you're okay with walking on eggshells and navigating a petty, hostile environment every day, I’d strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

This organization may not be the best choice for those seeking a respectful and collaborative work environment. The workplace culture is highly insular, marked by favoritism, exclusion, and unprofessional interpersonal dynamics that detract from productivity and teamwork.Management often overlooks or even reinforces these issues, which creates an unbalanced and discouraging atmosphere. Providing constructive input or differing opinions is not well-received and can have negative consequences. Career growth tends to hinge on personal relationships rather than performance or qualifications.

Human Resources does little to intervene or hold leadership accountable, contributing to consistently low morale and high employee turnover. These patterns indicate deeper cultural problems that remain unaddressed.

Overall, individuals who value professionalism, transparency, and genuine collaboration may find this workplace environment challenging.

Worked at Grillo Barristers as an intern for a few months, and i totally loved this place. Everyone was so helpful and friendly, I was given actual work to do not just sort out papers. I did lot's of research on different cases, drafted letters and even went to the court few times  to see how real lawyers perform. I've learned a lot thanks to Grillo Barristers.

I enjoed the atmosphere at the office, people were not agressive to each other even when arguing about something. May be it's just happen to have certain people with nice caracters to be working here or it's an impact from the work where you deal with damaged people (clients) on a daily basis and you really want to help them.

I saw lawyers to stay few extra hours at work just to help their colleague to resolve his case, i saw people bringing coffee to each other every morning, i saw corporate lunches and events and it really was a lot of fun being part of Grillo Barristers family.

I would love to come back and work here after I graduate.

I recently had an interview with the HR team at Grillo Law, and I was thoroughly impressed. The interview process was well-organized and professional. The HR team made me feel comfortable and welcomed from the start. They asked thoughtful questions and took the time to understand my background and career aspirations.

Even though I haven't heard back yet, the positive atmosphere and the way the team communicated their values and culture made a strong impression on me. I am excited about the possibility of joining such a supportive and dynamic firm. Grillo Law seems like a fantastic place to grow and develop my career, and I would love the opportunity to be part of their team.

There is enough support staff for AB law clerks and for legal counsels.
I liked the work culture here, everyone is helpful and keep to themselves.
Paralegals and lawyers are very caring unlike other law firms I worked earlier

Every month there is a team lunch, excellent holiday party and lots of gifts, give-aways to staff during Christmas holidays. 

It used to be a nice workplace. However, the firm is expanding and clearly the manpower is stretched. Everyone seems overwhelmed. No wonder the turnover rate has been surging. 

Workload – demanding and everything is urgent. That’s understandable because it’s a personal injury firm. But it may leave you wonder are you get paid enough to handle this s**t?

People - most of the colleagues are nice but some lawyers / paralegals are rude.

HR is a department of one so do not expect support/advice. 

As an intern at a Grillo Law, my role was primarily to shadow the law clerks and paralegals with various tasks related to ongoing cases. One of the most valuable aspects of my internship was gaining insight into the day-to-day operations of a personal injury office. I felt that I had the ongoing support and help when needed by the staff at Grillo Law which has given me more confidence as an intern. 

As a new employee at Grillo Law, I was worried about needing to take a day off during my probation period. However, the HR team was incredibly understanding and supportive. They listened to my situation and allowed me the day off without any problems. This reassured me that Grillo Law truly values its employees and prioritizes their well-being. It's comforting to know that I work for a firm that is flexible and compassionate, even for new hires.

Nepotism is abundant, they hired all family and it does no good, and gossip is rampant. Office procedures are outdated and the workload is crazy. Management doesnt care about new employees and training 
HR is useless, doesnt do anything wastes time all day. Takes about one week to process simple papers. Office manager is rude and obnoxious. Paralegals are flirts.
No salary raises and toxic work culture where offloading complaints to new employees is common
