It's a relatively new company still developing its processes and procedures. They pay great, but expectations are kind of all over the place. 

There is no onboarding, so you'll need to define your position quickly, or you'll be moved around into different roles every time you make a mistake. 

The company has a family business vibe. But it is lead by an owner/operator and a couple of other brilliant men that also take the lead in the day to day operations. 

The owner and upper management are very passionate about analyzing problems, sometimes a little more than finding solutions.

The people are all fascinating and have colourful backgrounds. I loved every minute of getting to know the people who work or worked there. 

P.S. you must have thick skin; mine just wasn't thick enough.

As a company experiencing uncontrolled growth as a result of their multiple businesses and vertically integrated business model, there is a unique opportunity to help shape the business. As a result of being an evolving business, they are continually seeking team members who come to the table with ideas, who are goal and solution oriented individuals.  The company looks for individuals who desire a high level of involvement, and are not content with just coming to work and collecting a paycheck. There is ample room for advancement, and the company believes in rewarding for performance. 

The individual who hired me quit a month after I was hired. The job I was hired for was given to somebody else hired after me after I proved myself. I was put on sites I said I was not comfortable with (working nights) but dispatch said those were the only shifts available which was a flat out lie, that's how they get rid of staff - no shifts &/or part-time overnight work. Their fleet is 35+ years old and all rust buckets on the road, very high turnover & lots of drama, I wish I never applied & never accepted the job! They don't pay overtime, if you work 8+ hours, you're only paid at regular time, pay cheques short you hours all the time, they don't pay for training or when the trucks go down.

There is nothing good about working for this company , it's run by a crook , equipment is old  held together with duct tape Basically,  runs you over hours  day and night with no overtime , do yourself a favor and stay away from this company

Crooked boss who says you are only as good as your last load

Horrible work environment. Management cares little for employees

There isn't one lots of bull the company don't care about you our there equipment

All the lies you'll get there is no shortage of it

If you want a pay check but don't care about what you drive or what it looks like this is the place for you you'll fit right in 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Confusing and stressful  they are terrible

If you want to work 12 hours per day or more and don’t care about getting paid for overtime, then this is the place for you. 
They work the drivers and yard staff to their limits. They do not pay for overtime. Not sure how that’s legal. No respect for employees. As a driver, you’re operating the junkyard of trucks. Bit of a toxic work environment. Poor communication.

Long hours, no overtime pay, always looking to blame workers for incompetent operations management. Definitely dont treat employees equally...equipment old and always breaking down. You can work 100 hours a week easily and not get a way to go much less be compensated.  All good employees quit.  

The company has grown very quickly and is dealing with adjusting their procedures to adapt to that growth. While it can be fast paced and challenging this is a great time to get in if your looking for a company you can move up and grow with. I've seen so much progress just in the 4 months I've been here. The leadership is supportive and genuinely cares about their employees

Worst place I have ever worked . Trucks and equipment in terrible condition no money for repairs . Pay cheques that bounce on a regular basis , shop is run by an ex convict who has no business making calls with truck/equipment maintenance. No overtime pay no pay for stat holidays basically do whatever they want 

High expectations for delivery but don't have the money and won't fix the equipment properly
Always hollering about equipment breaking 
The people you work with  there are always stressed out management sucks
