The company has a new regional manager that has difficulty running the company and also has difficulty getting contracts, as well as keeping contracts. I'm lucky if I get shifts, or any. I enjoy working when I do. I like making sure that the clients are pleased with my performance. I always ask for feedback and work well with constructive criticism. My co-workers on the most part are some what competent. The most enjoyable part of my job is working with a variety of different people in a variety of different atmospheres. I have learned that self composure and control play a big part in my field of work. Escalating situations rely on a calm and strong minded individual to have control when everything seems extremely chaotic. Its important to be able to handle difficult situations while under pressure. My job has helped prepare my abilities and skills to further my employability in law enforcement field.

Monitor 54 cost centres all across Canada with 22 Main Branches.
Financial information, interact with the branch managers on a daily basis for the variances in the weekly KPI. (Key business performance indicators)

weekly forecasting, comparison to budgets. Project Management of projects at the corporate office and the main branches, control and monitor spending.


Supervised a team of employees and track their performance on  quarterly basis, conducted weekly progress meetings with the employees. empowered team work and coordination.

Fast-paced, timeline based, data-entry job 
Production standards such as 200 envelopes per hour while processing bank deposits

G4S Securicor Ltd. is a upward moving company who has provided me with the training skills to be a successful member of the security team. They have recognized and rewarded my talents by consistently providing new challenges & environments to add to my skills toolbox which has made me a competent and knowledgeable employee.

Managemnet was always there to help. The staff was fun to work with. there many opertunities for everyone. training was paid for, and if working extra shifts the provided transportation.

It's a company that uses fear in most cases to control it's employees. There are good people but they are great outnumbered. It's a system based on making the client at the cost of their employees.

Good place to work, poor wages, upper management was a real joke, no regard for safety, or any type of training, other than that it was OK to work there.

The job was satisfying as it provided support during school with the money and the time. The shifts can go up to 12 hours day or night, which helped even if one would work for 2 days/nights.

- Controlled and supervised individuals entering property

Getting to work with many different people was the highlight of working for this company.  I was trained on an on-going basis in order to be able to respond to various situations.
