Equipment could be improved (laptops)
Work culture not as dynamic as other places for young professional, could be modernized
Unless you are a director, salaries are very, very low, it's laughable.

more structure on some departments would be beneficial
probably better treatment in sales




Although Clarins is a beautiful company. They definitely put more pressure on their Beauty Advisors ( to do more work) but your managers get the benefits and credit for it.

Coaching and help--- is little to minimum. It's each person for themselves. If you ask for help you are looked down on.

Although lunches and free products were always great. Uniform and overall job/life/balance wasn't for me.

It can be a fun rewarding job, engaging with customers, making them feel better about themselves, sales are up, when there is traffic in the store and you put in the effort. I'm always learning new product information, and stay up on current launches and trends in the cosmetics lines. Most managers of the stores I go to are friendly,welcoming, and supportive.

Marketing is for people who say ‘yes’ only, don’t bother to come up with better ideas, the director and VP will do as they wish no matter how good your idea. Other departments are great, IT is understaffed. Nice, modern office. 

CLARINS is a first class Company to work for and my Regional Manager was fantastic and so reliable.  
The seasonal trainings are incredibly well managed and organized.  My trainers were topnotch in every way.

Learned a great deal in a year that I worked for the company.
Very informative, love a attending the schools, and all the people were wonderful.
Made it hard that head office was so far away, which in turned meant lots of travel.

Promoting fragrances intriguing customers to make a purchase of the product. Social work environment great experience for sales associate position. Little to no hours in upcoming months due to lack of fragrance promotions.

there was good management while working in clarins. my place of work was at The Hudson's Bay, but i was paid by clarins. co-workers were very focused on their job, and management was great.

Love working with Clarins, I volunteer with them any opportunity I can. Looking forward to work with them again in the future as a free-lance Makeup Artist and hopefully some day officially joining their team full-time.
