Although they operate in the senior living industry, seniors are never part of the decision process in regards to quality of product or services and all administrative decisions are made solely based on ROI with no regard to potential impact on either operational staff or customers or even financial partners.
As an example, new buildings are rushed/built, cutting corners at every level and operations are forced to open and greet residents even if installations are only 70% completed simply because financials payments are made on opening day.

Was hired as a supervisor , very hard to do your job when management was not 100% backing you up in your work with employees .
I was doing A supervision job has well as other peoples jobs and management wasn't grateful for the hard work you put in .
 95% of the clients where very nice and respectful but the rest , I have no comment , and same for the staff , hard to work with staff that don't know basic sanitation and hygiene regulations  when working in A KITCHEN !

What is the best part of working at the company?
Very good company!! unfortunately it went belly up

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Co-workers always overlooking for what you didnt do.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It was alright, follow your work plan and you are good to go

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Working an 8hr shift following my care plan, and monitoring my clients day to day routine.

Former supervisor was a dictator, no communication from management at all, no issues were resolve in a timely manner, all employees complained about management, no organization, every day was a different message (related with covid), Employees were there only to do their job (in most cases) tasks were not distributed properly, some people were doing more than others, no friendly work environment (except for some) 

Workdays were fun, loved the team members and the resident were very patient with me (definitely a plus). The job itself was fun, everyone was nice. Only problem was the director, but that's a con you can get over when he's not around.

I loved driving the quad to take out the trash, probably my favorite part that was.

The hardest part was to not stress when around the boss, and by far.

Working at Groupe Selection is very complicated because everything is about emergency, everything need to be done fast work life balance is poor. Honestly I learned a lot there but if you want to grow in a company Groupe Selection is not the place.

start at 7am refill your carts with products thats missing.management is good and far.the culture is mixed,was trying do clean 17 rooms in a short period of time.my most enjoy i got out off this job was interacting with the guests and helping them out when they needed it.

Close approach with residents and their family
Staff relation very friendly, excellent cooperation between teams with open workplace culture
Is the place where you have to adapt yourself and learn to make front to different situation related with cultural background of the residents (clients)

This place does not care about you as an employee or as your own individual person. The residents are the best part of the job but unfortunately they are not enough to get me to stay because management is overbearing and make illogical decisions. 

The company was going to a rough time and everybody was looking to keep their jobs. No real communication from the upper managment. A lot of things where kept from us.
