On a typical day at Toyota I was responsible for preparing new vehicles for customers. This included removing plastic packaging and fuelling up the vehicle and ensuring the vehicle was ready to be presented to the customer. I have learn to be very meticulous as well as develop the skills to work under pressure. I have also learn about the various new technologies being used in modern vehicles to achieve higher efficiency, better safety, and to employ better connectivity. My coworkers we very helpful in showing me new techniques as well as knowledge about the car industry. The hardest part of my job would be during busy season where there would be an overwhelming amount of demand and work which made it physically challenging at times. However this was a small price to pay for the privilege of working for such a fast paced environment.

I had taken this job to learn more about the car industry. It was a lateral move that I did to help grow in my professional career. As a Customer Service Advisor in the service department at a Lexus dealership, one of the things I like is having to adapt to all the different types of people that come to service their vehicles. Some people dont mind spending money on a car, but when it comes to maintaining it, there are cost involved and I found it a nice challenge to show the customers what they needed and what they did not need when it came to the care of their vehicle. In the service department, you are working with the clients, Technicians,  parts and sales team at all times. I liked having to juggle everything and making things work.

I worked during the spring/summer tire season as a lube tech doing tires and oil changes, I will be completely transparent about the job, it’s not a terrible job and is what is to be expected. What I mean by that is during tire season of course it’s the big rush and of course they’re gonna make you work hard which wasn’t the issue for me. The issue for me was that they pretty much force you to stay over time everyday and the guy that works with you will be on your case for the most part about the work. But if your into working overtime everyday because you need it then the job is for you, if you don’t wanna be forced to work OT on top of the hard work you put in during the week then it’s not for you. Also they didn’t really care about me I could get into detail but I prefer to stay anonymous. That was my experience.

Automotive sales is long hrs and can be hard at times, but working at Spinelli made things better. They, from what I have seen, have the best training given in any automotive industry. I followed numerous trainings true out the many years I was there both from the manufacturer and Spinelli. There is a great team dynamic within the dealership  and from one dealership to an other. I would say the hardest part of the job was that I worked 12hr shifts 3-4 times a week and had more and more responsibilities as the years went by with not extra enumeration. What I did like to do is helping the new employees training.

Spinelli is a family oriented company that treats their employees with a lot of respect. They support your growth in the  dealership and they constantly made sure their staff are trained and updated with the latest technology. They're very understanding in general. They discuss every issue and find solutions as a team, acknowledging everyone's opinions. Although nothing is perfect, Spinelli Mazda Service team is as close as it can  get when it comes to a job. 

Lots of internal politics.  General manager is fantastic but kept shielded from alot of what really occurs.  If you are passionate about giving the best customer service, this is not the right company.   There is no support from the service department with whom you must work very closely with.  They are more concerned about "being right" than "doing right".  

a typical work day is great at spinelli when it is busy it really moves a lot the day goes along fast but not to forget it is about the customer and that is who we are serving and if they are happy then everything is smooth and at the spinelli dealerships we strive for excellence in everything we do because at the end of the day you are our biggest fan and to do it right the first time is a plus for us.I would strongly recommend working at spinelli . 

The Spinelli group in general is absolutely incredible, as well as extremely supportive. They have taught many important qualities to have when being in sales. As to how to close a deal, how to overcome objections that clients may have. The management is very organized and structured. The hardest part of the job would have to be the instability. The most enjoyable part of the job is everything else, especially the selling and closing aspect.

A good place to be where it is both a fast paced and clean enviroment.  No of the supervisors are looking over your shoulder constantly or anything negative as such. the garage kept me updated on the latest vehicles. Generally a great place to work especially if you're motivated to constantly learn and take pride in a job well done!

Worked there for 2 months in their new body shop facility and i could tell you that the manager does not know anything about bodywork nor how to run a collision shop. Upper management is even worse because they are the ones that promoted him from within. Since when does a parts manager know anything about bodyshop business?  Anyhow worst experience of my life and I would not advise anyone to work for a groupe that is so disorganized.
