I'm one of those who's got a bach in a science related field, and I got in quite easily.

Started around 25.50$, the fourth level on the lab tech bracket (I was fresh out of uni with no prior experience). Made 53k$ in 11 months the first year I worked here, but I worked a LOT of overtime.

Fellow techs and bosses were friendly. I think the whole bureaucracy makes the place feel very cemented and slow moving. It's both a strength and a weakness. 

They voted their new syndicate (union) recently and they should get their new benefits in the upcoming months (I heard around September 2023). 

The job is easy. Don't worry about that. The work conditions are probably among the best for a lab tech job, but progression is slow.

I left because I changed fields. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
A lot of nice coworkers. Day job healthy donors

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The pay isn't what we suppose to get . Lower re: no premium cut in time if we go 5 minutes earlier... 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Every body is working for the benefits of the donors. And the profits of the company. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Start right away often shorts staff. Busy place.

Repetitive  job all over the year with no improvement !productive and social workplace with dedicated ressources

overall job consisted on reception of consummables for production of safe and wealthy clinical bloods from Quebec hospitals  and even the  procurement management through SAP of all needs related to that production .

Héma-Quebec is a company that collect blood from donors in order to donate it to the people who are in need. This company is a very fun place to work into because you get to help other people by volunteering and putting your own efforts in making the event happen. It's very fulfilling and makes me develop my customer service skill by interacting with the donors and morally encouraging them.

Its a very nice place to work in and so I would usually go there set up everything and then I would begin my calls. I learned many things from this workplace but the most important was that I learnt patience.

You can work either part-time or full-time.
Different shifts (morning shift, afternoon shift, evening shift)
Free taxi service for employees who work in the evening.

Very good work people would be very understanding and kind. The most enjoyable part of the job was interacting with the customers and overall the job was not difficult since everyone one was very kind

Nice place to work, friendly stuff, respectfull environment, flexible work hours. Stimulating job for a nice cause: you actually help people. Very attractive social benefits.

Organized Blood donation events with my team as president of the Cegep's Health association. They took place at Cegep Edouard Montpetit for all students and employees.

Interesting experience in tele-recruiting and talking with donors and answering questions. Learned more about the company. Bilingual as English and French is a plus.
