Harbour link can be a good place to work at times if you’re in the right office. 
If you are in the main office, it is filled with stress and over worked employees who are consistently told they aren’t doing a good job or hurled with verbal abuse for whatever big or little reason possible. Furthermore, employees are not provided with adequate training whatsoever but are expected to know the ins and outs of every aspect of their position without proper training. 
Management is a giant “old men’s club” with no room for improvement or suggestions on how to provide better employee relations. 
If you are a female employee you are constantly made to feel inadequate no matter how good or dedicated an employee you are. 
It is constantly stated that this is a “family” but yet every single person is replaceable no matter how much dedication goes into your job over the time you’re employed. 
You will be made promise after promise by certain management just for said promises to be thrown out the window when the time comes to own up to them. The intense favouritism towards certain employees is blatantly obvious and extremely unfair. 
All in all, be aware when you’re applying or interviewing as what is put on paper or spoken about in the interviews is not at all what your job entails and you will be expected to dedicate your life to this job and not be appreciated for your hard work. 
If you want to be happy, treated fairly, have a flexible work schedule and a good working environment Harbourlink is not the place for that.  

This is a really intense work environment, with a heavy work load and high expectations. Be ready for many hours of over time with little to no support from managers or supervisors. 

CONS:
-There is no training, all that is provided is the new hire sitting with a current employee to observe and then fly on their own. 
-Floor supervisor will expect you to drop everything to do what they have demanded
- high turn over rate with employees
-making any mistakes will result in being spoken to by management and trust me they are not good/coaching talks its a why did you mess up talk
- no work life balance you are expected to always be available even after your working hours (they will call you on your personal phone you will not get a work  phone) 
-the office atmosphere is intense, co workers often have disagreements that result in raised voices
- Very little to no appreciation for staff from managers/executives, occasionally they throw a pizza party but don't expect much. 
-Managers have their favorites good luck if it isn't you

PROS:
- consistent work, with covid times are tough but you will for sure have a job here with consistent hours
- they match you RRSP contributions
- over time hours are compensated even with a salaried positions 

If you are in a difficult position financially I can see why you would consider working here 

This is a job where you are constantly asked to do better at with little to no help from anyone within the company. You could keep asking for the right resources at the right time and you would still be blamed for not being able to “get with” the duties of the job, which are fairly unspecified under certain parts of your contract and ever-growing. You could give it your 1000% and not see any level of output other than management consistently finding and berating you over what they think you’ve done wrong. Every single person has a different perspective in the company which leads to someone always being unhappy over how you do your job. Expectations are high, duties are ever-increasing and wages are not. If you do not want a job where you have to take it home with you and have it slowly take over your normal life I suggest you find something else. The no break rule for certain positions means you do not get a second to breathe and relax. Would not recommend unless you really need the money. 

Cons:
The company is growing fast and neglecting the operations staff. Everyone is stressed and burned out. High turnover ratio. No adequate training schedule. It's pretty much sink or swim. When you ask for help you may get it if someone else has time for you, which usually happens at the end of the day when you are  already overwhelmed. Or you may not get any help at all. Lots of work load and overtime. If the daily duties are not done within the working hours it will be your fault, but not the management failure to provide help to you. You can get work related calls after hours too or on the weekends. If you make a mistake you will be called in and talked by the management instead of them trying to work with you and help you out by finding out why this kind of mistakes are happening and avoid future ones. Staff is not treated equally and fair. Being loyal to the company is not well noticed. Instead of appreciation  they give you higher expectations.
Pros:
Good benefits and competitive salary.  Good career starter

Harbour Link is a great place to work. Since I joined the company, I've learned how the business works and how my job impacts the company's goals. One of the things that I value the most is the job environment. Your teammates are great people who are always willing to help and support you. Managers are also available to guide you and are approachable. In addition, I think you have opportunities for professional development because there are many different areas in the company that you can explore and be involved in. If you are pursuing a career in the logistics and supply chain area, I highly recommend this company for entry levels positions. 

harbour link is a family owned and operated business and that is how they treat their employees and customers, as family. Good and inclusive team working environment, good combination of younger workforce as well as experienced staff. Management is flexible and understanding, but also experienced, knowledgeable and helpful. Can be stressful at times but no day is ever the same, there is always a new task to keep you engaged, always learning something new

The environment can be fast paced at times but we all chip in and help each other out when needed. The Company has seen a lot of growth over the last couple of years, and management is doing a good job of brining on the right people. This is a family company that offers an excellent health and wellness benefits plan along with RRSP. The most enjoyable part of my job is working alongside my amazing coworkers.

Management is basically an old boys club that only pays attention when you do something wrong. Don’t expect them to have your back when you and a customer are in a disagreement, they only see dollar signs come and go.

There’s a reason they go heavy in recruiting fresh college graduates, experienced workers would never put up for 10 hour minimum work days.

This is the worst job experience i ever had working here. the management  is in wrong hands. It's not a fairly working environment and over worked. you would be forced to do the works which were not belong to you and work overtime. Less training but big responsibility even it's not your work. Would not recommend to work there, only if you have some circumstances I understand to work there.

Harbour Link has been an amazing opportunity to work with some truely talented people. This place have helped me grow personally and professionally. I always felt supportive by my colleagues. Every one was so understanding and wiling to lend a hand whenever needed that I never felt I was struggling even on the busy hard days of work.
