Primarily you will work on fundraising campaigns for various non-profit organizations, contacting current and past donors to thank, update and/or ask for donations.

Occasionally, there are campaigns where you are calling customers on loyalty programs to invite them to a special sale event for a retail business. This is a welcome break from having to ask for money.

It's a good place to start if you are looking for call center experience, but there is not much room to grow and there is constant pressure to meet fundraising goals daily. Management uses gamification to incentivize the team, using vouchers to leave earlier while being paid for the full time. However, you can only redeem enough to leave one hour early at a time, and it's on a first-come first serve basis at the start of the shift. Often, there will be someone else who already redeemed it by the time you ask. 

The owner treats his employees with disdain, denies us bathroom time, has often forgotten to pay us or underpaid us; we are understaffed so while the job isn't so hard we are overwhelmed; instead of solutions to problems, management makes no changes and just tells us to work faster; we were promised an incentive program which was incorporated for 1 month and then done away with; The CEO accepts new clients which creates more work for us but we get no pay increase. The owner either needs to be replaced, delegate responsibility more effectively, or anything to be more hands-off. Like many offices, management lords their power over employees.

This company has a separate area for Inbound and Out bound Representatives.
The inbound Representatives complain about their job and wage all day and if you possess a skillset that is paid at a higher wage then them they will ostracize you and make your work environment a negative one. Instead of trying to better themselves or taking classes to achieve a higher rate of pay they enjoy downloading fog horn apps and whistling while you are attempting to speak with someone over the telephone.Some of them even steal. 
 The job itself is great, the hours are also great. But if you are French Bilingual you may want to by pass this place altogether.

The only real problem I had with this job was that the hours were typically 3-11pm every day, and durng the summer, as a person with mental illnesses, this is awful. The manager did not care about my mental health issues, despite getting a note from a doctor that I needed to work 20 hours only, she still continued to schedule me for 40+ hours. 
Honestly, great place to work, easy going, you have your own desk and the job is really easy, but if you can't handle the 3-11 shift, then dont bother. After a few months you get upgraded to the earlier shift, but if you can't handle those hours then dont bother.

This is a great place to work, finally a job were you aren't trying to sell long distances to elder person who doesn't need it or getting people to sign up for credit cards that they can not afford. You are calling pervious donors to ask for their support once again, which it certainly helpful when asking for a new donation. If you want to feel good about what you are doing when you leave at the end of the day this is a great place raising funds for awesome charities.

This is an easy to do, work from home or in office job. Management will help you with any question that arise and they are very clear about any expectations and hours prior to your hiring. Inbound staff are friendly and welcoming. You're paid as much as you can expect for such a simple job and it is really nice to be paid weekly!

If you like to be threatened and intimidated then this would be the company to work for.  Harassment on a daily basis. Negative motivational speach at the start of each shift. Be prepared to say that the moon is made of green cheese if they tell you it is made of green cheese.

This company placed a job ad on Indeed for a part time and full time position.
Then they offered us a job doing a temporary political surveys. Its a 3 week job.??
Why not advertise jobs truthfully instead of lying to potential applicants about the available jobs

The preach about supporting staff but then ignore you. You are essentially working for the charities as the charities have a say in your hiring process. The management at hcb is just kind of a placeholder. They are done work at 4 everyday while their staff works until 12am or later every day.

The job is very mind numbing. You have to follow a script word for word and can't deviate at all. Unless you are part of the cool kids group, you get no real perks. Their policies are a job. You are really underpaid and they consider 30 hours a week full time.
