I loved the job and people I worked with. But after forcing everyone into mandatory overtime for several months they laid off the majority of the staff at HPG Inc. I was asked to transfer to Guelph to there sister company Trimaster where overtime was offered to as many as would do it. i was offered an apprenticeship for machining and then they laid off the majority of the staff there including myself. It was a temporary lay off and i was told id be called back for sure. But i was also told id return to work at HPG Inc after 1 month and i was there for around 6 months

No fun.
No appreciation.
Never let you grow.
No pay increment.
Toxic atmosphere.
Micromanagement.
No learning opportunities.
Don't valued of their employees.
Only gives excuses and complaints.
No coordination in managers.
Nobody knows the proper procedure of technical knowledge which they need to be shared with machine operator..

I was fond of working at HPG, the transportion was the only hard part. I had moved up fairly quick in this company and I did not have any problems with any other employees. Very calm workplace. There was no discrimintion against age or race, everyone gave me a fair chance.

It's not a bad place to work, friendly atmosphere just management cant look more than 4 months ahead to see how the economy is. This company depends on a good economy otherwise your job is not safe no matter what position you hold.

enjoyed working at hpg as a cnc operator, the management was great, i was required to do precision work and quality check parts before marking parts as finished

Place to move and learn multiple jobs and cultural. The harder part is confront some different opinions at time work but enjoy at the end the job. I recommend work for this company

A day at HPG.INC  it's challenging . I had a good experience at HPG I've learned a lot of things , management was friendly and helpful . the hardest part of the job for me I think everything for me was pretty easy .

Company is growing and is a great team environment to work in. Lots of learning opportunity. Hardest part of the job is depending on management support in maintenance department.

Good learning position, learned CNC machining, learned management of work, friendly workplace,Hardest part of job, stay with out any job. The most enjoyable part of the job is contineus working.

It was a pleasure to work at HPG inc. They were very friendly. The management was very nice and worked through any issues you might have had. I loved taking breaks and talking to fellow coworkers.
