HTS Engineering - Heat Transfer Solutions

I have been working at HTS for 10+ years and plan to be here for the rest of my career. HTS invests highly in the success of their employees and encourages everyone to reach their full potential. I would recommend HTS to high achievers who want to work with the best in the industry. At HTS you are rewarded for your efforts and the more you put in, the more you will get back. My favourite part of working for HTS is the tightknit culture we have. We are a work hard-play hard organization. There can be stressful days, but we find a balance to offset them and make it a great place to work!

I worked at HTS for two separate 4 month co-op placements and felt that I learned a lot about the HVAC and construction industry over my terms there. It is very fast paced and in addition to the industry knowledge I felt that I learned how to work more efficiently and became very detail oriented as this is an important part of the job. A typical day would include sizing HVAC equipment, completing request for quotation, budgeting and various aspects of project management. The hours can be long during busy periods but the work is interesting.

I have worked at HTS for 10 years. Was hired fresh out of school with no experience or connections in the industry. They train me in house and also send me to off site training sessions for our various suppliers/manufacturers. I have always had great experiences with co workers and management. They like to promote from within and I have grown in responsibilities and/or compensation every year since hire. Always new opportunities at HTS. Great company to be a part of. 

Souless, money hungry individuals gravitate to jobs like this. Its a glorified sales company, the engineering is boring and has little growth opportunity. People will work themselves to the ground just to buy a fancy car. Offices are full of immature, grown individuals, and you have to refer to the founder by Mr. "So and so" as if he's above the rest. No integrity, substance. If you love money then yes work here, if you have more depth to you, apply somewhere else. 

The most enjoyable part of the job is being able to meet customers throughout the day. I also like that we are able to manage our own accounts and schedule our own day to day tasks.  Management is always more then willing to assist and does not micro manage. HTS is a great company and has an amazing work environment. Lastly, I would definitely say hard work pays off and does not go unnoticed here. 

Rewarding place to work with a unique and "flat" team oriented success model. With a good work ethic and the ability to play well on a team you will do well.

If HVAC is of interest than this job is great. Wonderful people work here who are very helpful and inclusive. From the beginning I felt like a part of the team and was given more responsibilities pretty quickly. The day to day tasks can be pretty menial from office meetings to just checking emails, but when a large project comes up the work can be interesting.  

Hts could be a great place to work.  However, the manager & your direct supervisor can care less about you &/or your personal development or whether or not you succeed.  All they literally care about is whether or not you complete your jobs in the allotted hours & whether they're going to hear a complaint from the customer.  

Good place to work if you enjoy the HVAC industry. Management is very flexible and helpful.  The work does get a bit repetitive after a while so if you dont enjoy the work it can get frustrating at times.

Hts is an incredible employer. Staff is friendly almost like family. Management listens and is open to suggestions and feedback. Growth within the company is highly supported. However work life balance tends to fall short at times which they are actively trying to rectify.
