A typical day at work was mostly spent loading purchases into customer's cars and helping with any inquiries they may have about products. Other tasks include stacking fire wood, organising product, bagging bulk product, sweeping the warehouse, etc. Management was understanding and friendly. Overall, a relaxed environment. The hardest part of the job was being out in the sun all day and certain materials being very heavy. An excellent place to work IF you can handle the physical demands. For this reason, i would not do this type of work again.

Placed outbound marketing and sales calls to potential and existing customers to help meet  quota’s. 

Answered telephone inquiries from suppliers and customers regarding any related concerns. 

Responsible for ordering and restocking the warehouse with inventory.

Used computer and purchase ordering system to check prices and quantity of all products for customers as well as tracking all purchases in store database.

Sold, tinted and mixed pails of stucco, while also providing advice on specific stucco products.

I left because of the hours and money... Not enough money for what I did.. I loaded different aggregate into trucks that came in.... I was hired for the sales counter that's why I left can building products.  I only met the CEO one time that was after work at a event... So when the yard was short people I would go outside to help and would not be dressed for it but I did.

a typical day at Hamilton biluders would be me coming in at 7 am and get the yard all clean ( sweep, take out garbage etc) than I would there go and help people with there bill so go find the idem and put it in there car 

management was good if you needed any help or had a question you could aways find the manger and ask 

hardest part was carrying 150 lbs around to put in cars other than that it was a good job

your shift will start at 6:30am and end at 5:00pm Monday-Friday, 7:30am-2:00pm Saturdays (some Sundays depends on the yard) until winter comes then your hours get 8:00am-4:00pm Monday-Friday.
Benefits are meh, pretty much just 80% of dental. 
It's hard work with heavy lifting and long days

Nice place to work. Good people to work for, company bought lunches on pay weeks.  Well serviced equipment, employee discounts. Hardest part of the job was Toronto traffic if you got sent out that way. Best part of the job was the people I worked with. 

Management isn’t the best but it’s not terrible, the yard staff are a bunch of great guys and it is a super relaxed fun work environment for the summer, underpaid for the work but you meet a lot of people and make connections with future employers if you are going into the trades.

My time at Hamilton builders is nothing less than educational and fun, throughout my time here i have acquired many skills that are applicable to life in many ways. I gained and maintained friendships since 2016 that will last a lifetime.

Everyone was willing to help me and very supportive while I worked there. I learned alot during the months I worked. Loved working outdoors! The guys were friendly and very motivating in helping me within the company.

Never had much to complain about at this location, got licensed here and would have stayed but figured on to bigger and better things. Recommend for people looking for seasonal work.
