- Typical day starts with inspecting buildings, attending to customer requests, make work orders, collect rent, show apartments, screen prospects, signs leases.
- I gained so much knowledge and improved on my management skills, learnt how to deal with difficult customers and how to resolve issues
- Management had to make most decisions and as a resident manager you had very little power to make decisions even though you were the one conducting showings and taking applications, I had very small authority in deciding which tenant stays in the apartments or leaves even when they were bad tenants.
- Hardest part of the job was that there was no rest, had to work Monday to Sunday, receive all phone calls throughout the day and night and attend to problems even in the middle of the night. There was there was no time off for myself.
- Enjoyable part was I meant different people from different backgrounds and I always had something new to learn from them

Wouldn't suggest this company. I've worked here for a little over a year. I'm aware of the way they run things and it's not a prospering place to work. It could be, but the key couple ladies (one per each office) are two conniving, power hungry, manipulative, unpleasant, women that give other women a bad rap; who are sexist towards men, and are much more concerned with being bossy, rude, and degrading than actually doing their job and accepting responsibility for their actions. They would not last with any other company in their same role. I truly wish them multiple years of bowel disorders for being this way towards me. The business format is flawed. I would not suggest living in their buildings either.

The workday at Har-Par as a Resident Manager is never boring or repetitive, there is a lot to do in a fast pace environment. It's not your typical 9 to 5 office job. It's rewarding though, I still maintain good relationship with past tenants, colleges and the management. They will appreciate your hard work and achievements once you prove to be a reliable leader and team member.

•	Responsible for four buildings with 32 suites or more in each.
•	Implemented strategies to attract potential tenants by launching promotions and show vacant suites.
•	Ensure that tenants comply with agreements, renter’s rights and contracted terms.
•	Collect rent, handle delinquent accounts, audit apartment files and apply rent increase when needed.

As with all positions in Property Management, the work can be challenging, exhausting yet very rewarding. I found the the Owners of the property to be exception people and Employers. I really enjoyed being apart of this team.

I worked at Har- Par for over 8 years. I enjoyed the work Environment and dynamics. Very effective management and amazing owner.  I was fairly get paid and my Hard work was valued. They offer great benefits As well.

We can show our potential and strength in daily work time, learned plumbing, heating knowledge from the workplace, and time management skills. The hardest part of the job is on call 24/7 because of managing two buildings of around 380 units.

Being a leasing agent/building manager means that there's something new every day. The flexibility meant that I could schedule personal life and work life around each other. Not a 9-5 job.
