Harding Display

I've been at Harding Display for several months now, and the environment is nothing like what the negative reviews here describe. 
Are they even talking about the same place?  The people are what make Harding Display so amazing! I have yet to have met someone who isn't welcoming, supportive, respectful, and just overall fun to be around.  So far, the Owners/Execs have been nothing but welcoming, cool people to work with! 

It is a family-owned business with a pretty casual environment, but they've got processes and policies to help keep people accountable and tasks in line.  The execs know their employees by name (not just a number) which is refreshing to see.   There is a social committee too (lead by one of the Owners) so it'll be nice to see what types of events they do as we return to "normal" after Covid.

The pay is decent as are the benefits, but hey, these areas can always be improved.  They've been undergoing some renos and I hear there might be a games room in the works which would be pretty cool! 

So far, so good.  I think the old reviews here are just that - old - and based on different people working there.  With the current environment, I can see myself staying here for a really long time!! 


I've worked here for 1.5 years and it was fun for a couple of months. You can really start to see the toxic work culture in 2-3 month's time. There was a lot of unprofessional disagreements and yelling involved. The owner of the company would sweep everything under the rug because it was better to be oblivious and ignore confrontations. I've seen people get hired and fired like there's no tomorrow. The turnover rate was extremely high. They do have a social committee with some events, but it was all a facade to deter you from seeing the real picture. The reality is that it's NOT a healthy environment to be in.

CONS: 
- No raises in 2 years
- No bonuses in 2 years
- No resolutions for issues brought to the Management's attention
- Tons of cursing and yelling
- 9 hours work day (skipping lunches and working late hours) with no recognition

PROS:
- Snacks 
- Allowed to listen to music while working (drowned out the cursing and arguments)

Overall, I wish I had left sooner! I wouldn't recommend working here because it really took a toll on my health.

WARNING!

If you're looking to join a WWF wrestling match -- this place is for you! There was a lot of inappropriate screaming and use of profanity from Management to staff and vice versa (it was considered normal here). This place is more toxic than The Simpson's 3-eyed fish. 

The pay was depressing and way below the 'average' standards. In addition, the 9-HOUR days were long and stressful with extremely high volume of work (short-staffed). There was no such thing as a "work life balance" at Harding Displays. You are expected to work through your lunches and stay after hours. This place will completely drain the life out of you.

In hindsight; the only thing I got were free donuts and diabetes.

GOOD-LUCK if you still decide to pursue this. But, don't say I didn't warn you...

I have been a long-standing employee at Harding Display and can truthfully say it's been a very enjoyable experience. It is a young and fun vibe, great relationships - colleagues are more like friends than coworkers. The industry is cool and innovative, fun to see the displays we have worked with out in market!

Workwise, there never seems to be a dull moment. Good challenges and learning experiences.

Yelling. Screaming and more yelling and threatening behavior. Not all the time but always at the top of people's lungs. Often about minor misunderstandings. Nothing was ever done about this. It happened in front of everyone and this was just what I observed and had to listen to while trying to do my work.

This was considered normal and acceptable.

Could be a great company to work for if that kind of behavior was outlawed.

Team work and the very clean environment to work in.

When the machines are not in proper working condition.

Very smooth based on the roles that are in placed.

Always moving and could get a bit hectic depending on volume of work,

I have worked for Harding through an Agency. I have friends who have worked there in the past. The work is easy; the pay is minimum. The only problem is because the work is so easy you tend to get bored. The supervisors tend to rush you a lot. They get frustrated when you need help understanding but fail to take their time to show you properly. Other than that, this is the place to be if you want money in your pocket. You go in, work and leave. That's what I did. Don't expect to get rich. 

badly managed company with outdated job culture ethics and has no vision. High turnover in many departments.
 Equipment outdated or not at professional grade, management doesn't care about employees and is only after the buck and low morale shows it. 
Uses the old "be a team player"push as a way to make you work harder and longer hours. 
Bad compensation.
High paced work environment often due to bad planning from outdated and unrealistic sales team.

Not a good company new plant manager every couple years no loyalty for staying with company safety is not a priority production is all they are interested in I was shipping receiving supervisor for 7 years.with only. one raise of 35cents.not a good long term company

Great place to work for lots of friendly people to work with

Not really a stressful job at all

Harding display takes price in being a clean warehouse
