Hart

After seeing a job ad in my area with Hart Employment, I submitted my resume and had several brief phone interviews with a representative. About a week later, I was called and told, "Congratulations! You have been selected for this job. You will start Monday!"

Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday passed with no further details about where and when I was supposed to report for work. In fact, I would not have even known the name of the employer had I not specifically brought it up in a phone call. I contacted the company several times and asked about the status of the job. They kept telling me that they still did not know my start date, and then finally told me that they were submitting my resume, but that they were competing with three other staffing agencies to see whose candidates would be selected. All this after their calling and telling me that I had been hired, making me fill out tax documents and send them ID, and making plans to start on a specific date.

I would not recommend working with this agency as the whole thing was confusing, misleading, and unprofessional.

As an employee I was treated with respect by most. The management allowed you to schedule your lunchtime break or supper break if you had a prior commitment to attend. they were a family oriented place of business. They allowed you to go about your work day with very little supervision. This I think gave me  confidence, a sense of reliability, and a better work ethic.

No staff,expected to work with only two people in the store

Not good ,only two staff on at once

Had one whole side of the store by myself

I have worked here for almost 3 years and I have to say that I feel like I was placed well. My coworkers are all nice and we do our best to get our work done... But the company I find is trying to be to fast pace and not give much time or space to put out products right. Many costumers tell us that Hart looks messy and too packed. That they have a hard time finding things in here with the little space we have.

Management was understanding and considerate. The culture of the workplace was always to facilitate  growth and knowledge. The workplace was synonymous to family and friends.

so I want to say that working at hart wasn't the best part of finding a job that I like. it took a while for me to get used to all the different changes. overall I felt welcome. the people made me feel like i was part of the team. 

This was a volunteer position. for my love of animals i loved volunteering for hart i had some great times at volunteer events and loved talking to people about the animals. This gave me great public speaking experience.

Hart was a great place to learn management skills in the office environment. Learned a lot of about running a store floor, and setting up displays based on the company standards.

Responsible for keeping area clean in order. If not many clients helped pricing other areas. When there were sales it would be very busy and the day would go by quicker.

Company who have zero benefits, zero support for the employees. No raise. Not family oriented. Doesn’t paid right hours. Management always changes. Not recommended.
