What is the best part of working at the company?
Very helpful co-workers...smart..kind...most welcoming and most friendly. A good place to work. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Much duplicate documentation. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
I found that my Co-workers, Managers, the Lactation Consultant, and the Clinical Obstetrical Educator easy to approach, most helpful and most welcoming. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
There was a huge and on-going major component of my workday...all day...most every day which dealt with discharge planning and so, my workday was comprised of on-going health-teaching / client education all requiring; communication skills, assessment, problem identification, consult, collaboration, information finding, sharing, assisting, teaching, request for feedback and evaluation. All of this, I thoroughly enjoyed, as I love doing any and all that I can within my scope of practice which speaks to the self-empowerment of my clients and their loved ones.

Good benefits for full time employees


What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Lack of support from management 
Struggle to get vacation approved. 
Too many people in senior leader positions 
Always short staffed. Management and charge nurses don't help out. 
Health PEI doesn't do enough to retain the staff they have. Won't pay overtime incentives will will hire travel nurses which cost more than paying their current staff more. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Floor nurses and PCWs work as a team and have each other's backs. Management and the main charge nurse refuse to help on the floor when we are working short staffed. We the nurses put up with way more than what we should have to from patients because resources are not available to properly deal with some situations.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The Unit I worked is the best, good team dynamic but is very busy place and changing some times challenging

When it’s short staffed , you need multitasking, customer care not addressed well then

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Good work culture and is supported well by the leads. No discrimination 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Mostly busy but enjoying who like working

The top heavy management. The underutilization of LPNs and the excessive politics

The lack of oversight and the hiring of undertrained staff that speak little to no English 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very low morale...almost no one cares anymore. Everyone wants out. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Confusion- mixed with Apathy wrapped in arrogance and frustration.

The______ is quite busy and sometimes under staffed. Most times everything runs smoothly but when we are short things can develop depending on peoples personalities which would be the hardest part of this job..I learned that if you do as you are suppose to and let things slide off your back things go alot smoother. A regular work day is busy with no time to spare. The most enjoyable part of this job is the educational sessions. You can never be over educated!

The patients who validate your work.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
No support, bad HR, disorganized and chaotic workplace that doesn't care about employees.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Toxic workplace with no reliefz

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Terrible. Relentless, thankless.

-switching staff between units is what led to my departure. 
-a great team to work with
-supportive staff
-a great place to work professionally
-would pay over time

in a typical day i would of seen 5 clients,i would usualy do personal cares  and reprite in pm.i enjoyed my work  meeting new people.i found the hardest part of the job was not enough support from management when we  had  a issue with    clients or staff.the most enjoyable part of my day was meeting new people and being there for them.

Currently facing staffing shortages throughout different facilities. Despite this, coworkers are very supportive, and Supervisors are very understanding. Its great pay for the position, and I would recommend it!

I loved my job there at the time. I enjoyed the on going education. There wad great team work. I enjoy my work daily and  residents.  I loved the fun, happy and environment , a very pleasant experience.
