The best part of working at Health Science Centre is the employee is valued and appreciated and respected by everybody including patients and their families. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The most stressful part working at the company is when you have loads of work to do and your superiors don’t recognize even once effort. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Work environment is harmonious and lots of cooperation by peers and other colleague. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Always busy but at the end of the day knowing patients were helped and cured and they feel relief is enough to make it worth while.

LPNs working in a hemodialysis center plan and manage the care patients receive. The nurses responsibilities include: checking the patients' vital signs and talking with them to assess their condition. teaching patients about their disease and its treatment and answering any questions.Dialysis nurses are part of a larger specialty known as nephrology nursing, and they have an in-depth knowledge of kidney disease. They support, medicate, and monitor patients throughout dialysis as well as educate them on kidney disease and the lifestyle choices that help them to manage their disease.

We help each other, my co-workers are approachable. Everyday that I work, I learn new things. I am more confident to do the tasks and duties. I always ask questions to all the things that I am not sure of.  We, as a team communicate very well. The hardest part of the job is when the doctor's orders something that I cannot understand, however; I always clarify just to make sure.  The most enjoyable part of the job is even though we are busy, we always have time to laugh and bond together after work.

The typical day at work is always busy. I learned to be open-minded in order to take care of patients. The culture of work please is to respect anyone equally. The hardest part of the job is when someone died and handling people's behaviour. The enjoyable part of the job is helping people when they get hilled from their sickness and go home to their loved ones 

I am working as a volunteer with the volunteer services HSC.It has been awesome with my fellow volunteers and staffs of the volunteer services. They're all accommodating... glad I have the privilege to work there and render services to the patients and families/ friends.

Data entry, personal files/charts, fast paced working environment with  quick response skills, communication skills, computer skills, multitasking , on the go job.

Checked in with other Unit Assistant and see how the evening/night was.  Did my rounds, asked Nurses if needed assistance with anything, getting bathing items ready.  Checked supplies and other items needed in room.

Mopc inappropriate with female staff. Staff afraid to stand up for other staff getting targeted by him. Inappropriate touching of young female staff. Toxic work environment

Worked in many departments and exceeds in many fields.. Worked all around the hospital and gain experience while in the job and have experience in working with patients and staffs..

A typical day at the gift shop would be replenishing stock and helping customers in any way. I gained a new skill of being a cashier and learning all about retail.
