My work area is a fun environment the girls i work with are awesome and the kitchen workers are great to deal with when we are very busy an have complicated orders.
the management is good but very hard to understand sometimes
they hire girls for when we don't need them so it cuts down on our hours. 
the hardest part of the job is when we are busy an the kitchen gets backed up and the customers are inpatient so we have to explain why there food is taken so long.. 
the most enjoyable is the locals who always come in an how they recognize you and say you are the reason we come back cause they love the service we give. 
I have learned a lot from working as a waitress for 3 years and i love it i want to keep being a waitress cause i love interacting with people and meeting new people all the time

Fast paced, hands on, learn as you go. I worked there for almost 2 years, as dishwasher/prep cook. My first day/day of interview, there wasn't any interview and I was quickly shown how to work the equipment and sent into action. Since my "interview", there has been alot of changes to management to keep things running better. The Coworkers are great and easy to get along with. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
Excellent customers service and people are very friendly.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
When there is workers calling off and we don’t have any to cover their shift

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Normal sometimes busy during week end

its a great place to work but being a single person living on my own its hard where it is only seasonal work and laid off during the winter months  I would prefer to have something more permanent work and fulltime if available

hearthstone inn was a nice place to work very clean nice hotel friendly  staff happy place to work always busy we had to clean rooms mop floors answer any questions customers had very clean place

I would have worked there longer except I needed to move away for schooling. The work environment is amazing, staff and management are very knowledgeable and friendly.

It's a flexible job for students. They make a moderate schedule in the school time. wages and benefit are not bad rather than other call centers. all outbound calls and I learned how to talk properly to a customer.

The first time in a long while that I enjoyed going to work. The people are awesome! The supervisors are terrific. I would work there for the rest of my life if they gave me more hours.

Hotel Managers are the best. Very comfortable & professional environment. You will be one of the luckiest person in Cape Breton if you work there. Great place & Awesome Team !!

love the job new managment is not all that good  ive leave to work as a team and also one on one  the new manager has no clue how to work with people or how to run a hotel
