It has been a pleasure to work at Heatherbrae as a Cabinetmaker's apprentice. The shop has a great work atmosphere that allows someone who is still learning much of the trade many opportunities to learn and grow. The individuals working alongside me in the shop have all been great to work with and the foreman provides an amicable work environment and steady leadership. Upper management has been very friendly and approachable. Lastly, the work is varied and comprehensive allowing for the development of a multitude of different skills. 

Good company to work for. lots of room for advancement. I was a carpenters helper and cso and first aid on the sites i worked on. it was alot of work always getting pulled off my carpentry work to go deal with people on site or dealing with trucks or traffic. I learned lots from every site I worked on, every site was different. learned tilt ups. concrete construction, wood frames and window restorations on a old concrete building.  

Overall was a great experience, now I'm looking for something new.

Nothing at all  hard to be on same level as management 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Everything even trying to talk to site supervisor

Bad, no one really cares about wellness of 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Get yelled at for doing what you were told to do

It’s a great place to start working as an apprentice or a carpenter. Steady hours with overtime, here and there. 
Management takes care of you if your doing your job without any hassle.
Overall, I had a very busy and learning new things everyday type of career with Heatherbrae builders till I switched to different career. 

use you for the job and then lay you off, If somone got hurt, they were fired, raises are hard to come by, cancel staff events when contracts were lost.

Very tight knit crew, everyone has each others backs. A positive, relaxed working atmosphere left room to challenge one another and produce perfect building results.

i dont have an opinion on if this is good company to work for or not, 
they always paid there guys, but the jobsites where clunky and riddled with temp labourers

Very easy to use liked the questions it asked hope it works the first time looks like you guys have got every thing covered thanks for all your help and support

They provide a Fair pay. They are a Family run company so there really is no growth opportunities. Old school "construction culture". Site staff are top notch!

Lots of work available. Job sites all over the Vancouver lower mainland. Opportunity for overtime work. Can work on large and small-scale projects with big developers, schools,...
