The team at Henderson Partners is wonderful - they are kind and supportive and the culture is great. It is a busy firm - with lots of great client work and opportunities to learn. At certain times of the year there are significant amounts of client work to do and hours can be long but the firm makes a big effort to compensate with lieu time later in the year to restore balance. If you enjoy a fast paced entrepreneurial environment and want to learn and be a part of a wonderful team this is a great place.

This firm truly values its employees and it shows in the day of day culture of the firm. Community involvement is extremely important to the Partners as well as the wellbeing of the entire team. They have worked diligently to ensure that the entire team is engaged and feedback is always welcomed and considered in the decision making process. Culture is bred from the top down and the partners are truly supportive of the team and their professional development. Its a lot of hard work but a really fun place to work!

HP has been a great place to work from the start. Busy season is tough but that not unusual for the industry. The firm is very supportive of employees, both from a professional and personal aspect. I think the firm did a great job navigating the COVID crisis and supporting employees with their WFH needs and keeping morale up.
Plenty of opportunity for community involvement if you are interested. Really great clients too.

The firm is constantly trying to find way to better the experience for their employees. If you are looking to be apart of an amazing work culture this is a great office for you. The hours are typical for a private firm but the amazing office managers are on top of ways to help minimize stress over the busy season.

I do not recommend this firm. They don't know how to value their employee. A revolving door. They let people go after tax season. If you are not one of the favourites, forget it. Make sure you have a job line up even before tax season is done. They will work you like a dog.

If you like to party - they are really good at that. The fun part of working here. If you are looking for a long-term work, look somewhere else and do not waste your time with them.

They have a great work culture and everyone is there to help. The partners and the senior managers are amazing to work with and are super helpful and supportive towards your development and professional growth. The partners are constantly searching for opportunities and growth areas for their staff. 
You feel like a family member and not like a replaceable employee.

No feedback or review notes so you don't know if you did it right or wrong. 
Your manager would just report to partners directly and never communicate with you about your performance or errors.

Culture is great, they mean what they say - Work hard and play hard.

Great team events and staff appreciation days.

WFH option, mentoring by managers is on point, a lot of room for advancement within the firm.

Any well run business starts from how people behave from the top-down.  Henderson cares about its staff and really puts in the effort to ensure the culture is positive.
