Working conditions in the summer time, extremely hot, but heat breaks are well established

99% of the people..management and co workers are good people. It takes time to earn trust, once earned a great place

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Toolroom, chq die status, read over production schedule and coordinate dies to be serviced for next production run. Then your usually machining one off part for a machine break down

Highly toxic environment. Management is nonexistent and when they do make any appearance they are ineffective. Seems to be a constant struggle between employees and management that it is almost impossible to get the work done. Sad part is the middle management winds up paying the price. Out dated practices and constant burying of problems or looking for a scapegoat makes this company a place to avoid. Word of advice take the extra time to drive to Kitchener, Woodstock or London for work. This company will use you, abuse you then bounce you out. Don't be fooled by their speeches and candy coated lies. Save yourself the stress & grief just apply elsewhere

Hendrickson  Springs is situated in Stratford Ontario and has the highest paying wages for employees for a manufacuring facility for 50 square kilometers.
We produce suspension springs to the tractor trailer market across the world.
Management are fair, firm and want employees to succeed, if you have a strong work ethic the this is a challenging  and rewarding  place to work.
An old factory  mentality that is  embracing the challenge to change into the future.

Like all companies, Hendrickson Spring has its challenges. The work environment is dirty, extremely hot and noisy. It is a fast paced job when things are working well, but more often then not the old equipment breaks down. As a member of maintenance my job is sometimes extremely challenging. Part shortages are one of the problems affecting most businesses today and Hendrickson is not immune this. Management is challenged all many levels as well.

Was hired as a Customer Service Representative, but my role was shipping/exporting. One day of inadequate training. Disorganized and Volatile work atmosphere. Was let go one day before my 6 month probation period, which I found out later was a common practice of Hendrickson. I was the 4th person let go in 2 years. It’s quite apparent they didn’t want to give out benefits or packages. Please do not work at Hendrickson, Stratford. Avoid putting yourself in this toxic work environment.

Poor management,  from the top. Grumpy old employer that wont retire.new  team leaders ever month . This company seems to be going down the drain .the boss dont talk to the guys on the floor . They often fight against use even when we are trying to push out parts to put money in there pockets and ours .

If you are a diligent worker with integrity they overload you with work. Lack of communication is rampant.  Very strong union there and long time employees with dated views and attitudes. There seems to be a sense of entitlement with many employees. Disgruntled management trickles down to the production floor. I could go on, but I will just say that the work atmosphere is toxic.

Hurry hurry hurry.
Always a sense of urgency is forced on you.
Overtime is required always.
Good pay. Always pay weekly. Good benefits. 
You own your pension.....they can't touch it.


If I could go back in time and skip the interview I would. All the experienced managers retired, quit or were fired. Now it’s an absolute gong show every day, with the guys on the floor struggling to keep the place open amidst constant machine breakdowns and back and forth decision making. No real leadership at all.

the pay is great, along with benefits. Management is very poor, along with family values..
The work is very heavy as it is truck suspensions, but when lifting devices dont work, you must still do the job, and ignore all safety rulles as management preaches to W.S.I.B they do supply proper lifting equipment, when the truth is at most times these divices are broken or not working..
