Henley Place Long Term Care

This job is okay for experience, but don't stay, or you'll be targeted by management and they'll try to make you quit or find any reason to fire you, they are horrible! They are absolutely lazy and put themselves in resident care without consulting anyone, constant rule changes without warning and being unfairly treated, I loved watching being told we had no money for support but management was ordering lunch to their offices daily. Spent needed money on unnecessary robots they haven't even used, took funding from other departments to support these unnecessary purchases that do not benefit the residents whatsoever. Avoid working here long term, use it for experience and run for the hills.

The constant change In management made it very difficult to know who was working, they never seemed to introduce themselves and orientation was a mess. They don't seem to care if someone who has worked there for awhile did anything that was a safety concern and they were all bully's. The way staff treated residents in certain areas of the home was very difficult to see, and when reported, it was not taken seriously. They way staff are treated is sad and they don't care enough to change things. Overall it was a horrible experience and if you don't suck up to everyone then consider yourself leaving in 2 months like everyone else does

Nothing. Stressful . Management don’t care the staff

Management not supporting the staff. They only looking for the mistake. Not appreciating the what the staff given to the homes

Toxic and discrimination. If you’re immigrants they will not give you good treatment

Very busy. Always short of staff but still they expect you will finish all the jobs.

They have a cleaning environment they always fixed the problem on time

It's just a normal challenge that happened in each company. Sometime employees don't get alongs

They make it feel like home for every resident and every employee 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
If I'm working day shift. I don't even feel the time time go 
And if it's evening it depends on the team world that is on the floor

Nothing, I’m embarrassed to say I worked there, too many years of being bullied and taken advantage of

No support from management, always working against you

Most of the staff have no passion and are very lazy, and bully others

Very stressful every day, no support at all

I personally enjoyed working for the Bradford Exchange because of the people I got to meet. Having friends at work makes the experience that more fun and I liked that the staff were willing to help you become a better person and teach you more then a different place would.

poor management, no leadership, no support, no communication, needs to treat employees like human beings and with respect.  they need to stop making examples out of people.  they put people on leaves way to often without written or verbal notices,  upper management is only for themselves

Toxic and unorganized. They change management every couple months, that itself is a testament of how unorganized the place is. You're always gonna work short.

working as a team and provide care to all clients equal. work will be fun and fees like home and every clients and employees are a like a family member.

I worked for 5 months as a placement student at Henley Place. The residents are great, workers are friendly, clean and good place to work. I don’t know anything about the salary
