A typical day at work was dynamic and engaging, with a good balance of responsibilities and opportunities to interact with both guests and team members. The fast-paced environment kept things interesting and helped build strong problem-solving skills.

During my time there, I learned a great deal about customer service, teamwork, and handling high-pressure situations professionally. It was a valuable experience that helped me grow both personally and professionally.

Management was supportive and approachable, providing guidance when needed while also encouraging independence. Communication was generally clear, and there was a sense that efforts were recognized.

The workplace culture was friendly and team-oriented. Colleagues were helpful and cooperative, which created a positive and welcoming atmosphere.

The hardest part of the job was managing busy periods, but it also helped develop resilience and time-management skills.

The most enjoyable part of the job was working with a great team and building relationships with guests, making each day rewarding in its own way.

Morning duties consisted of floating all tills so that they're ready for 9oclock start. On delivery days rails of clothing had to be put out on to shop stands and tables. Floding and labeling items was done on everyday baisis.

Every member had a section to tidy by the end of the day. Team was fun to work with and communication was good. Managers were helpful and listened well to our suggestions.

As a visual manager, I felt kind of thrown into the role without knowledge of all the unwritten rules of H&M visual presentation. Once your few weeks of training are complete you are expected to be 100% independent and if you ask too many questions you will be reprimanded. 

In terms of employee benefits, the company is rated quite high in my book. They preach work/life balance but it is still a work in progress.

I thought I enjoyed working here till I got laid off. In my location there was so much favouritism,if they didn’t like you they wouldn’t get to know you. Don’t work here. Managers are very strict,I didn’t look forward to coming into work. Couple of my co workers were nice. Worse experience

I have nothing but great things to say about H&M. Very understanding, amazing with its employees. Great benefits. The management is really understanding. Like I said I have nothing but great things to say.

Worked there for a year. My experience was pretty good but since my city was small, there weren't many conflicts that come with the job. I had fun there and I find that it was general enjoyable.

Turn over rate was insane. People would come in and leave immediately. The managers would be very strict and not friendly. Customers are also extremely rude. Not a good place if you want to have meaningful interactions with customers.

Great short term job to learn the fashion industry, but any attempt at growth exposes upper management’s lack of organizational skills and empty promises. 

This is a great place to work if you enjoy fashion and would like to learn good customer service skills and fashion sales and merchandising

Decent job for part time work, lots of room for growth if you are working full time. Typical retail work life. Overall great experience, only con is management evaluation for amount of membership sold
