High turn over rate of pharmacy staff most likely due to the female pharmacist.  She is rude, obnoxious, and controlling of both patients and staff.  She screams at pharmacy staff and is downright degrading.  She speaks to patients like children, telling us "I want you to...," As though she wrote the prescription herself instead of the doctor.  I find this incredibly disrespectful.  The last straw was catching her bad mouth patients when she didn't think anyone was listening.  She was very judgemental of me and my family for the medications we are on.  This prompted me to switch pharmacies.

Worked as manager for years and was always expected to work well beyond the 8 and 40 hours a day or week for 40 hours pay a week.  It was very stressful and I just had enough not a place to make a life of.  That is if you want a life outside of work as the balance is just not there it is all work no time for play outside of work.  Or I should say there is but your to stressed out or tired to have fun.

Worst decade of my existence. Great if you need a quick stable buck. But if you want a stable future with opportunities for growth . . . this isn't the place for you. 

They may say they are a co-operative and a quote "different kind of business". But it's all marketing. They have a corpo mentality that could rival the biggest of behemoth corporations.  

As a grocery store Co-op balances the needs of several departments. Within every department there are the employees who have worked there for years who complain what a bad place to work it is. Big red flag. There are some quality co-workers but mostly there is animosity and gossip. It's very difficult to have good professional relationships as everyone seems to hate each other and the job.

I've worked for co-op for a number of years. I have had several other jobs and never received the same respect as I do here. If you're a good employee they will take care of you. There is lots of training opportunities that are applicable to any job and work-life balance. Good place to work. 

Lots of training opportunities. Friendly staff (for the most part). Wide range of positions and hours available. Very specific in the way they want things done. 

Typical day at work can be quite stressful especially when there isn’t enough staff. Management and the actual workplace is toxic which is why I no longer work there. 

Over all a great place to work.  Loved meeting customers and making sure they received the best quality produce, fresh vegetables and fruit.  Make fruit and veggie baskets for special occasions

Enjoyed my time here, felt there was a lack of real communication between us and upper management. Things were still done timely and correctly so it wasn’t too bad

Good rewards system, all employees did their part, all the employees got alone with one another. Employees should get a discount at grocery store & at the gas station
