I wish I could warn people from working or living here. Most of the employees try their best and are dedicated to the residents, but they are woefully underpaid and over worked. I couldn’t believe the stress and responsibilities the employees have to manage. They are completely understaffed and the manager is either not there in the office or hides in there all day. They will expect you to do work outside your original job responsibilities and then refuse to acknowledge the hard work you’re doing. You’ll be terribly underpaid (as is everyone in the building aside from the manager) and overstressed. 
Most of the issues stem from management/ownership worrying about profits and not the people working or living there. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. 

The Residence are the high of my day, Assist Living is a blast.
I took my Care Aide for a reason i love working,helping, even being active with them is fun.
my high emotional intelligent was notice and complemented often.

I multi-task there, i enjoy being busy from House keeping to Administration and learning the routine and all about your facility is helpful as well. It is very high society there being  informed on the building just in case anyone asked a question i could answer professional and informed.
I do my homework when it comes to the residence they have allergies you should know about, healthy conditions, blind or deaf. Its very important to take the time to learn people.

The residents and co workers as well as the manager

They work on a bare minimum amount if employees 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It is quite relaxed and most employees and residents have good relationships 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Busy but not too stressful. Everyday will have moments of fun and laughter while getting your job done in the most efficient way possible. Staff is very supportive of each other

I truly loved working at the retirement home the management team was kind to the staff and the elders. The first thing I would do was fill the juices and set the tables with with the juices and the milk jugs, later I would serve the elders breakfast. Once breakfast waa done I would set the table with table cloths, placemat, utensils, and napkins, refill milk jugs and juices. By the time lunch came by I would start off the elders with coffee or tea, and served their lunches.

Was a cook/server for mornings & afternoon. Always short staffed, new manager who was a "chef" would ask how to cook grilled cheese or a Ceasar salad (examples).  All management never help when short in Kitchen, extremely unorganized in all departments. Very low pay for amount of work you have to do. 

Heritage House was a Great friendly place to work. A lot of nice people. Especially your co workers as well. Your place of work became your second home. 
A lot of meetings. Upcoming events. Client detail. Well managed in all direction of care.

It was very hard it's very fast paced but it was very fun good experience.
I would set tables with tablecloths utensils cups and saucer, water glass and napkins. I would serve breakfast and lunch.

Every thing about this place is horrible. Horrible staff, horrible management, horrible pay, dysfunctional kitchen. Do not work here unless you want to be stressed all the time.

It was very great. The staff are super nice and the manegement. you really get to build a relation with the residence and its very interesting to hear their stories.

I worked in this retirement home for 3 years and I learned more about serving food. Preparing food and the dining area was always fun. My co-workers were very welcoming.
