I have been working with Highway King Transport for 8 years. It is a very reputable company and there has been substantial growth in all the right directions. The owner is a very humble individual who always strives to keep up with the latest technology & equipment. We specialize in all FTL shipments: dry, fresh, or frozen. All of our drivers MUST go through a very critical hiring process to ensure we have the safest drivers hauling all of our freight. We operate all year around and some of our busiest times are during Christmas, Berry season, Nursery season or when natural disasters occur and our ESSENTIAL services are required.

The workload is very stressful. The staff members are generally okay, but the management is extremely incompetent and lacks kindness. They are always welcoming to newcomers because they know how to control them. If you try to work independently, they won’t allow it—they constantly interrupt and interfere without reason. They don’t trust their employees. Joining this company was a terrible experience. The management is uneducated and undisciplined, and they are not professional. I strongly advise against applying here or trusting them, as you will end up disappointed, wasting your skills and time.

Too many Chiefs not enough Indians. Best describes this place.
Management is slow to get any results on issues.
Dispatch gives preferential treatment to certain drivers.
Most of the Drivers are there for a pay check and don't report problems
with the equipment, and they leaving it for the next driver to deal with it.
Pay day is a hit and miss some days it's there some days isn't.
It does get paid eventually, but it causes a lot of stress when there are bills that need to get paid on time.

During my employment with highway king, I learned a lot about trucking industry from Management and collegues. All are very experienced and knowledgeble and ready to help anytime. 
Management always like to help as much as they can to office employees and drivers. Office employees are encouraged to have friendly relationship with drivers and other staff memebers. Overall its very friendly environment and I enjoyed a lot while working here.

highway king is one of the Excellent company to work in transportation industry. they have lots of work since they have changed  their staff and have high experience people  working at office accommodating all the drivers currently very well . They are offering good rates. Generally have patience when dealing with driver issues , they keep drivers accomodated .

Highway king was a life-changing decision For me and my family I’ve also learned a lot of great tips and techniques and maneuvers about the trucking industry.They value  their employees and great work life balance. A lot of growth opportunities within the company and makes us feel like a family. Lot of learning opportunities.

Highway king transport is a revolutionary logistics company which changed the way how your freight is moved across the country. 
Everyday innovative steps are taken to ensure everything is going smoothly whether it is drivers pay, updates to customers, etc. 

Highway King transport will takeover the logistics industry in coming years.

Not a good company to work for.  Management doesn't seem to know whether there coming or going.  Daily tasks change daily.  It's like the bottom guys are telling the upper management what/how to run the company and taking advantage.

Overall its a good place to work. Flexible, fun, respectful and motivating work place. Positions varies from dispatcher to bookkeeper or accountant. 

Benefit if you know track-mate or tailwind which is trucking software.

Very good work environment. All staff is very much cooperative. Company is very good from growth and leaning prospective. Salary always came on time and also management is very helpful for all employees.
