Management was very dishonest.
Lack of any concern or care to have the tools to do your job.
Did not STOP EMPLOYEE BULLING AND GOSSIP.
Manager displayed favoritism and lack of support especially concerning breakfast staff!
Communication was superficial and unimportant to management. 
This workplace culture was very toxic and unfair
Concerns and problems were never fixed, the attitudes were horrible, never admitting to ANY fault on the managers part!
Good workers just got more stress and more work.
NO HELP came from management especially at high volume times for breakfast crew!



Although all things about the Home2 Suites by Hilton is amazing and their guest values are good. The Management team at the Fort St. John location need improvement. The Front Desk Manager power Trips and causes Drama to no end and talks about the stafg behind their backs but all nice to their face. 
Housekeeping Manager and General Manager are very close and if they dont like you than you are not part of anything at all and eill be given poor attitude. 
Front Desk agents are required to do Janitorial no matter what, hskp manager will throw a fit if her janitors have to do it.

Nothing! Extremely unorganized and half the time you won’t have the supplies you need to complete your work

Sad and unorganized , working here will crush your spirit 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Cleaning 12 rooms by yourself while not having what you need to do your job properly

There was always something to do when completed daily task sheet to work full hours. 

Time management was essential so I was able to receive tips and tricks on how to ensure every room adheres to hotel standard as well as maintain the overall appearances of the hotel.

The hardest part of the job would be the commute during the winter season, especially on weekends.

Being a full-time student, I was blessed to have an understanding employer who guaranteed hours for part time work.

The workplace is fun, all the employees are nice. Weekends are crazy busy and you don't have time at all, other days are okay. Your work will increase day by day but you will not get any pay raise or appreciation. I worked there over 3 years and they only increased my pay once and it wasn't even a dollar increment. so If you think that fun is all you need you can work here but if you want growth and good pay this place is not for you. 

Working at Hilton caused me so much stress I actually got stress induced early appendices. There is little to no communication between management and departments. The management at Hilton as no respect for their employees, for example we were promised holiday pay that was never payed out, they refuse overtime and expect the 8 hours of work assigned to be done in 5 hours. 


Housekeeping at home2 was fun. I worked there for about three years before becoming a mom. I can honestly say the management is wonderful. The atmosphere is light and happy. The people are caring and sweet. Meetings are fun. Just an overall great job. Loved it. 

DO NOT work for this company. They use very hard to learn software and expect everyone to pick it up with minimal assistance. They do not communicate well at all with their associates and by the time they do speak up, it is to fire you on the spot without giving employees a chance to rectify what might be lacking. 

I have worked at Home2 suites Dorval, I loved working there. All staff members are friendly, and work with a great team Spirit. Great place to work, it's like a another home!
Management is active for providing great corporate culture and excellent service to the guest.


Dynamic workplace and employees are very friendly. Training in progress about cleaning rooms and provide customer service. Management for now were so supportive and help in getting to know the workplace.
