Hockey Referee

The organization was both supportive in performance as well as scheduling hours. Constructive feedback was given to help you improve and advance in the rankings. For the most part they schedule around your own availability so long as you keep your end of the responsibility by giving them your availability. They did a good job of protecting young officials when fans would become too disruptive.

Walk in the arena goto the dressing room, then I will put on my referee equipment. Once I'm done that I am ready to ref kids and teenagers. I learned how to deal with kids and keep them in control  also be able to control the game and everyone in the arena. Hardest part of the job was hard on the knees from running for 4 hours straight. The most enjoyable part was that I was able to ref my favourite sport.

The Edmonton Minor Ball Hockey Association has lots of opportunities to ref games and very good wages (based on what level you are reffing) as well as they are very helpful when you run into problems and don't know what to do on the floor.
