Home Renovations

A typical day at work includes assessing work to be completed and any problems that may arise. Once assessment is completed work can commence. 

What I have learned through all the years in home renovations (I have worked part time and in between jobs in home renovations since 2001) is how to properly manage your time and be as efficient as possible. Learning how to see a problem area before it becomes an issue is vital so not to waste time or re do completed work. What I have learned the most is how hard you must work to make sure a job is done right and to the customers satisfaction.

Management included myself and family members. We are a small team (usually only consisting of 2-4 people) and I have learned how to manage a small group of people (lead and direct them) and a small company.

The hardest part of the job is the physical toll it takes on you but the most enjoyable part is when the job is done right and the feeling that you have accomplished something great.

It's a good place to work. Its fast pass restaurant cause I'm cleaning dishes off, making sure the dishwasher is always going, putting the dishes in the right spot, and doing what ever the waitress ask for like can u change the coke on fountain, bring ice, get some can drinks for the cooler cause we are getting low in the cooler, and plus doing what ever for the cook, or the prep cook when there busy like get more potatoes to prefry or the prep cook would ask me to go down stairs to get some cheese or something they need for the salad bar.But for the most part thats what keep be there for so long cause it was busy and the days went fast.

A typical day at work doing home renovation is always busy.Their is always something to do . I learned how to use machinery tools , hand tools , saw. I had to manage my schedule because I had school. Co-workers are nice and responsible for their actions. The hardest part of the job is keeping your energy up. The most enjoyable part of the job is leaning new things.

Renovating houses was a typical day at work.  I loved working with my husband on these projects and I loved seeing a run-down house turned into a beautiful, livable home that anyone could be proud of.

The hardest part of this "job" was we spent 6 months plus accumulating debt and working to meet required monthly payments when we didn't get "paid" for the job until the house was sold.

I enjoy working with tool, like to do hand work.

Good environment, working like team, and I willing to learn

I like to keep my self Busy at work

A typical day at work is me trying to make sure that all jobs are complete within a relatively short time frame, no wasting time and working efficiently.

Learned that a well organized team and a hard work ethic is one of the best things to have, and that the customer satisfaction is the most important

Management was great, small teams easy to keep an eye on everything

It was very simple 
Painting , cleaning , building , fixing and sometimes moving.
The salary would change from person to person.
One part I really liked was the teamwork since me and my co-workers had to help each-other quite a bit depending on the job.

i loved working there, we had fun at our job sites.Sometimes the hardest apart leaving the job was leaving the job itself, because mostly all jobs was a learning experience and fun, the other guy i worked with became family to me, so as they say, if you love your job it not considered work, and that in a nut shell is just how i felt about it !!

Very professional but also laid back atmosphere. We did all kinds of work. From cutting grass to painting to replacing drywall and ect. it was hard work but a good learning experience and i really enjoyed it.
