Good for anyone just beginning in this field or already have a well-paying side gig. You will learn a lot from truly great coworkers. Work culture is fair and supportive, too. But the pay is not competitive at all (or equitable, considering how it has been frozen for most for so long while upper management has been giving themselves a raise almost every year). They forbid you to discuss it with others and ignore it if employees raise their concerns. Turnover tends to be high.

I would not recommend this resource for clinical practitioners seeking advanced tools or methodologies. However, it may serve as a beneficial starting point for individuals interested in organizing community programs, as it provides foundational insights and frameworks that can help in developing effective outreach initiatives.

Improved detail capacity and team skills while collaborating in an open environment with a wonderful, positive team and great co-workers - strengthened direct communication and presentation skills while completing community-building and personally fulfilling work!

Only thing is the clients speak certain language so makes it hard for others to excel and work without support from an Asian staff. Overall staff are very supportive and caring. Amazing atmosphere and very understanding. Clean and well coordinated. Great staff well being workshops. Absolutely enjoyed my time working there. 

When I work in Hong Fook, I feel like as in a big family, everyone is so nice to people, they have a warm heart and very active, if anyone has a problem, they would like to help his or her out, they have a lot of programs to train people and let them have more knowledge about mental health, I am so happy to work in Hong Fook.

I enjoyed working with this company because it provided a chance to enter into this field and work with a dynamic team.

I also benefited by using my knowledge of human development to manage the company's training needs.

It certainly is not perfect, but the management tries hard to connect with front-line staff. Its emphasis on cultural competence draws consumers to service and makes the staff feel their work is valued and meaningful.

 It is a perfect place to learn how to exceed all standards except the staff salary. Please keep in mind not to burn out and take care of your living budget. 

They will start you off with a very low salary and give you a lot of cases to handle. Lack of staff, no support from management. However, good coworkers and team members. 

Overall I would describe my experiences at Hong Fook to be stressful worker/management relationship but very collaborative working cultural with staff.
