Hudsons Canadian Taphouse is a great company to work for. They truly understand and love the experience they get to share with their guests and employees.
As played in the Managment role I got to learn a lot of the business side opposed to the employee side, which I have learned alot of, and loved a lot of it.

Great company to work for. Worked for numerous companies within the service industry and this is far and away the best to work for.

-Unlike other places management is solid, attentive and not shady

-respect that there is a life outside of work

Worked as a cook here for 2 years

High turnover, but thats cause some of the people they hired were just weirdos. Overall fun atmosphere, everyone including the front of house staff made you feel excited to work with certain people.
Managers gave treats almost once per shift

1 year bonus was nice.

From start to finish this job was very fun. I learned the menu, flow of customers and the general weekly operations of the restaurant. Culture was very urban, the hardest part of the job was working evenings, as there was much going on. The mot enjoyable part of the job would be the co-workers.

You learn how to make a set menu items. If management likes you advancement is there and if not you might as well find a new job. The hardest part of this job was getting up to go to work. Management didn't really work hard at keeping morale up.

Hudson’s knows how to take care of it’s people. This environment is amazing! I could be having the worst day of my life and within seconds of entering the building it’s all taken away. Such a great group of people all working together for each other.

Very enjoyable environments, and lots of learning advancement opportunities. Staff and management always ensure that the employees and patrons feel at home.

Any bar is a fun place to work. Great people, great energy.
It's not a permanent career choice. It's a quick cash type of job, and one that helps you get back on your feet.

when i worked at hudsons i was a dishwasher for 1 year and 8 months i lerned how to do prep and and be fast at dishwashing my ex coworkers i liked working with them

Was being mistreated by a co worker, told manager they did nothing. Management only cares about maximizing profits and not about their employees at all.
