Humanity First

Humanity First is a non-profit organization that provides aid and relief to disadvantaged members of the community. Since 2015 I have been a volunteer with Humanity First and have assisted in the coordination and execution of many events such as Feed the Homeless and annual fundraising dinners. As a member of this organization, I was encouraged to work with other volunteers to ensure that the events were successful. Through such experiences, I had to learn to be a leader and in doing so, I improved greatly in my communication skills. The most enjoyable part of this job was meeting all the new people and building relationships with them.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Humanity First Canada is an amazing organization that truly serves humanity. Working with them is a rewarding and fulfilling experience. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants to make a difference in the world.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
There is nothing to share in this regard.

Humanity First is a non-profitable organization which works with people all over the world and helps provide relief in places of need. We worked to collect money and organize fundraisers in order to collect funds to build wells in places with water issues and send young children to school

learned communication skills and how to approach clients, learned organization skills, friendly people. You get to help people in their lives, help families achieve some stability, give advice and make a genuine effort to be a positive force and influence, a source for change.

Constantly on your feet, organizing food banks, providing food to homeless and poor people/families. Shelving all food deliveries, and mopped, swept and vacuumed after all services were completed.

They also have many programs that help the less fortunate around Canada. I have collected food for local food banks, as well as helping organize and execute fundraising dinners to raise money for the needy of Canada.

Honestly i really enjoyed everyday. I enhanced some skills such as team work, dealing with difficult situation, organizational skills etc.

i would say the best charity available for donations. all volunteers are very nice and prioritize the charity and the events they hold.

Instructions were fairly simple and doable.
Some tasks given were to clean up certain areas, organize items, pack goods to deliver, stack up on items. Make the area neat and tidy. All done for a good  cause.

Very Productive days as we helped a lot of people.
Learned about how the food banks work.
Management  was very helpful and supportive of their employees
