While working here I admit that I learned, growth and had a good time with coworkers- I worked here for 3 years 2019-2022 - , but that growth came with a price that maked me feel with a bad mouth taste. Work was not often appreciated; the feedback feels like a automatic answer OR 
appreciation was given when they wanted to get something out of you. The $$$ compared of the work that I did was not fair and when I asked to receive a fair wage I was faced with new challenges in order to get that fair wage, but at the end I was given ''atole with the finger¨ meaning that I was lied and only got told what I wanted to hear in order to get advantage out of me. (the management team often does this)
While the overall experience was OK because it was not everything bad and I did have good times with the company, hush is team is great and good people, I did learned new things and have a growth inside of the company but in the other hand I believe that the management lacks human empathy and money will always come first, meaning that OFTEN they will prefer saving money than threating a human with dignity.



If you like transparent nepotism, spoiled employers, being treated like literal useless garbage, and working your butt off with the very constant knowledge that you will never be promoted, Hush is the place for you! This place used to be the best place in the world to work but after a massive shuffle with most corporate staff being pushed out and replaced by friends and family of the owners, the store has completely gone down hill.

Almost every employee previous to the summer of 2017 worked there for AT LEAST 1-6 years, but now the store can barely hold onto staff for three months. it is an honest shame. Hush used to be the goal for people working in the adult toy industry and now its replaced with a complete lack of sincerity and some of the worst treatment of employees I have ever seen.

After starting with the company at the beginning of the year, I can honestly say it's been one of the most rewarding experiences I have had to date.

The top brass hear all suggestions regarding product, policy, and procedure which is a breath of fresh air. Most importantly - micromanagement is not their forte. They allow you room to do your job and ask questions about the things you don't understand.

While the company still has its startup mentality, the company continues to grow and evolve on the day to day.

I'm VERY excited to see where this company will be a year from now!

What is the best part of working at the company?
The two founders of the company are dishonest and created a terrible, greed-plagued, environment for their staff.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Dealing with the greed and extreme frugality and inappreciation of the executive top brass.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Like, bring dropped in the middle of a rainforest, without any supplies or maps, and being told to survive on your own.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
awful, terrible, abusive, gaslighted

Working at Hush has been a blessing over the past 5 years. Getting to meet new people, making customers happy, and creating new products makes it such a fulfilling workplace. 

I see some reviews from 2017 but Hush wasn't a company back then so not sure what that is about. I highly recommend working here - and I can't wait to welcome you to the team!

You learn so much while working for a start up. Each day is different, which makes it both exciting and challenging! If you like comfort, this might not be the place for you - working at Hush means constantly evolving both personally and professionally. 

In less than a year the atmosphere and morale took a 180° turn. There is no employee appreciation or financial compensation for additional tasks required of staff, since all qualified senior staff quit. Working for unqualified management and corporate leaders makes the job that much more difficult and intolerable.

Corrupt and terrible management with terrible training and customer service. And embarrassment every day. Will hire anyone to work there and not care about skills or damaging lashes because they have no idea what they’re doing. The teach hush way or the highway and that’s just not the case with eyelash extensions. Violated human rights daily.

It was a great place to learn but I had to work under alot of pressure.

I had great co worker and learnt soo much from my manager. They, however need to do better in making sure stock is available and have products sent out in time to their customers. 

This company is going in an amazing direction! The atmosphere is buzzing and everyone is young and driven! However, the start up life is not for everyone. It's important to keep in mind that things are always changing and you never know what's next!
