What is the best part of working at the company?
good pace and specialized people to help and support you in your job. very different from a private company, here we had opportunity to evolve and to think out of box.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
No big issues. what we could call a 'stress' is regulations to have external ressources allocating freely. But I think is valuable to preserve internal employees and give them opportunity also to evolve in their own pace.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very friendly. Less stressful and more long therm vision with less lucrative pressions than a private company

- Inbound calls, responding to customer concerns and inquiries.
- How to properly use tools available to answers clients, weekly/ monthly training on current updates. Always improving customer service relationship.
- Team work, being able to count on one and other for help.
- Having to call back or follow up on cases, this for not being able to answer clients as part of a first call resolution.
- Knowing that I was able to answer the clients request immediately and effectively.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The pension plan is good. Job stability as well. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Systemic discrimination and levelingdown. Lack of professionalism. Poor management in all levels. Salaries are getting less and less competitive.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Discrimination,  double standards, unleaven distribution of the work load. Xenophobia.

The job is always challenging and renewing, so if you want to always be on the edge and evolve with technology this is the place. But...the management always change threw reorganisation and keeps the process always moving and most of the time not exactly for the best.

I have worked on four SAP consulting projects at Hydro Quebec, three times as a SAP CRM and ISU independent contractor and once as a full time employee at a consulting firm (although that particular engagement was for an SAP HR engagement.) I like the open and welcoming culture at Hydro Quebec and I admire all the talented people working there.

My job was to install the new meters from Hydro-Québec.
I had the opportunity during that contract to meet new people and new places. Everyone was very helpful. My manager was always available if i had any question concerning where i need to go. I was on the road a lot. We work as a team and everyone was helpful towards each other.

Handle incoming calls and deal with collaterals from bad press in the media.
Provide solutions to clients to resolve their past due amounts due.
Management is great but can't do much to overrule higher management ill guidance .
Temporary workers and permanent workers have two different realities.

- Good ideas are not necessarily welcomed 
- Entrepreneur culture does not fit with Hydro-Quebec’s culture 
- 80% are political decisions not efficient and intelligent ones 
- if you are looking for challenges forget this Cie 
- very much based on a unionized mentality, jobs are given by seniority

Pretty nice company to work with, you have personal insurance even travel insurance pension, and one of the mottos is 0 tolerance. Once you have your foot in the company, you can move up, apply for internal positions etc

Great work/life balance, and great if you're mid/end career. Difficult to develop and move careerwise in IT especially if you're a specialist.Overall good salary and. hours, not so good managment and employee development
