The head office is still running on a small business mentality where it relies on "Heroes" to save them.  Hyundai relies on individual performers, instead of roles, to solve problems.  If person "X" isn't there, everything grinds to a halt.  Each case is viewed as an individual scenario instead of a workflow.  The result is a workplace that is drowning in thousands of emails, relies on a dozen approvals, and requires hours of overtime.  There is zero change management or  alignment between teams - grinding everything to a halt.

Teams are at the whims of their leaders day to day moods.  HR has no oversight or control into how team members are managed. They focus more on delivering  overall services and less on developing/supporting leaders.

There are a lot of wonderful amazing brains in this company, but they're frozen by a complete lack of willingness to recognize that they've outgrown a reliance on individuals.   Instead they continue to run people into the ground.

 There is also no safe way to communicate concerns to HR, you are just referred back to the leader that is the source of your problems.

Management is inexperienced and needs training. Very unprofessional. Judgemental. They do not lead by example. Treat their techs like garbage. The ower only cares about his image and money. He barely knows his employees by name unless he deals with you directly. Otherwise he will refer to you as "you" or "this one". They try to get the most of of you and pay the bare minimum. Trust me the list goes on. Another crazy thing they seem to do is they will hire someone. Let them reach about just under their 3 month probation period but then find ANY and I mean ANY reason or blemish with in your 3 month period to say "hey listen you weren't perfect so we are going to give you a 10cent raise and put you in another 3 month probation period" this happens all the time.

Micromanagement and management attitude towards employees. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
High stress, old school managers yell at employees, Managers indicate poor reviews are common and not to let the door hit you on the way out if you get one. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
High volume, having to pick and choose what work to do.

The entire staff of the company is fine to work with. Just one individual there, that has all the upper management wrapped around their fingers. When I worked with this individual, "it" said that they always get what they want. I instantly got red flags about that individual and was hard to work with them. The rest of the staff had no problems with my work ethics. I did my job correctly. I was hired to work normal working hours, but then later placed on contract. I do believe the spoiled worker had a say to get someone they want there to take my place.

Disgusting place to work at made me wash cars in the pouring outside when they stated I don’t have to the drains didn’t work either so I was to told to bring waterproof shoes because I was going to be walking in puddles all day long. They make you to physical labour which isn’t part of the job. I stayed a extra two hours and didn’t get paid. Lunchroom and washroom is just gross. Place has no COVID protocols in place. Service technicians get paid for how many cars they fixed so if your fixing and engine your only getting paid for 2 hours for 8 plus hours of work.

Work, with little or no bs. I recommend this employer. Really.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
None. They let you work. They avoid superficial nonsense. In a dealership. It is the only way to go.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It can be micromanaged but if you prove your worth, they let you do your job.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
It is very lunch pail. You know what they expect and delivering is not hard.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Nothing it’s the worst manufacture to work for. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Dealing with the customer that your company left you to deal with and it’s not your problem but there’s.

Horrible your on your own. Good luck 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Annoying,horrible not fun you pray the day end just as fast as it started. Depressing

I do not recommend working, walking, buying or even chewing gum at this place.

Reason for termination: not partaking in the sales teams gossip & reporting back to the owners son (who manages this location).

Excelling in my position was apparently not enough...if your not a spy for him and report back the gossip...you sadly are toast, dunzie, finito, fired.

I'm sure his father is so proud to see his hard earned empire crashing down....

You schedule your time daily meetings with companies interested in buying the Hyundai brand for the sales team. You follow up on those yet to make purchase after showing interest. You do cold calling to old customers and try and follow up on those there cars are due for maintenance 

Very political place to work. You must be on your knees constantly pleasuring the ones above you for work.  Apprentice and those without licenses are given the best jobs. Shop supervisor doesn’t know much big ego bullying always blaming others and looking for an easy way out and very much a hypocrite. Favouritism is huge here and there is never a lack of conflict of interest. Many here in charge abuse there power and lets it get to there head.
