IDC Communications

IDC was a great place to work at. I loved going to work everyday, I got to work with ppl that grew to be some of my best friends, and the work was ok. I stayed for the relationships, not the work. There is GREAT support from management, and they always push you to do your best! I'd recommend IDC to anyone looking to be in sales.

Calling support is the hardest part of the job, some tech. stealing assign port and leg for your customer and messed the whole install or repair. The most enjoyable for me is the big fat checks every week.

Typical day is meeting customers and performing activations on home and cellular services. employees are great, customers can sometimes be temperamental and get upset at you when you have non control over the situation.

Horrible drain on your mental health, with some of the worst top down management and HR you will ever see. Their constant desire to maximise profits has so led to a drastic fall off in terms of the quality of the products. 

Installers are treated as the lowest form of life. Schedulers give no consideration to geography between jobs. Do not recommend. There were some good persons on staff, but Installers unappreciated.

Retail is difficult.  They are managed tightly and have lots of resources. Lots of sincere people, but opportunities are few and far between. It’s a great job to get a taste of sales

As with any commission based jobs you get out what you put in. Good overall experience with knowledgeable people around helping to make make the work environment more enjoyable.

Work place changes all day, everyday. As i go to install internet, home phone or cable, the houses are randomly dispatched and given out from lead hand. Overall great management skills/help. Great employer.

Best company i was work for past years. 
Fair salary, flexible  hr schedule,    good management.  Working different locations, meet new people every day .


Good place to start a career. No room for advancement.
No loyalty recognition for long term employees. Not a good place for a mature worker with any kind of knowledge.
