What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Long night shifts in the winter is stressful.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Everyone knows their role they all help each other. Everyone is always ready to teach you if have questions or something you don’t understand. Health and safety is primary management to leaders they all encourage safety first. Provide necessary training. Great place to develop 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Collecting samples of raw materials and finished products and testing them  for quality.  Yeast propagation and trouble shooting equipment. Cell count

Process team is professional and friendly while one of the lab teams is not professional and they work with out any goal, talking and playing 6 hours of the twelve hours shift, fighting most of the time that can make it stressful work environment. Management people are nice but they always make shortcuts when they solve problems and they would fire you without listening to the story from your side

IGPC Ethanol cares about its people. Work life balance is a factor in all management decisions. Inclusivity is high priority at IGPC and our diversity shows that. I feel safe working here as I know that right from the top down, no one prioritizes anything over health and safety.

Very hard on managers, there is always a hiring firing attitude with senior management, Managers on the floor are in constant turnover, Senior management can be very Crude when it comes to dealing with employeee's under them

A relaxed environment, where employees  have as much interaction with management as desired.  There are plenty of opportunities for internal movement based on ones' desire.

1950’s management style with a “rule by fear” attitude 
Great place for getting lots of different training 
Very high turn over rate due to poor upper management

Bad no more comments, if you try to learn, do not go there, people working there do not understand the entire process so nobody will teach you, teach yourself. everyone talking about everyone badly behind walls.

Most of my day was involved in Project Engineering, Business case development, Project Planning, Construction management, Project commissioning and training.

Since being at IGPC, I have progressed in my career and been provided complete support.  The team culture makes it a pleasure to come to work every day.
