Terrible environment for people who take pride in their job and have a good work ethic. If you bring anything to Upper Management's attention that could make work more efficient, you will be put on the watch list and they will eventually do everything in their power to make you so drained and uncomfortable that you quit so they don't have to pay severance, and if you stick it out, they'll let you go for some bogus reason. Upper Management is supposed to be your support system being Regional Management and HR and they actively work against you, including making back handed comments and digs to make you feel worthless. Upper Management destroys the culture in the industry. Refusing to give raises (including hiring you at one wage and trying to change it to less after they offer you a position), and yet buy up other shops. There is no opportunity for advancement because while they claim to hire internally, they actively only give the chance to outside perspectives. They tell you to do one thing, and then will claim they never said that and will put you down. If you want to get ahead in the world, and want to make a future for yourself and your family, this is NOT the place to work. You will experience emotional distress to high levels, despite working in an environment and industry that you would assume to be supportive, where you earn minimum wage. They allow their staff to remain in dangerous situations to save themselves money, and the treatment extends to their sister store, Inspired Cannabis. Avoid. You're better off.

I really liked the job itself and my coworkers but management is bad. They make decisions based on their personal feelings about employees, not performance. The company also does some shady things like having every employee sign an averaging agreement (highly unusual for hourly paid shift work) so they can avoid paying overtime. This company is more interested in making money than building a good culture or retaining employees. You will notice a high turnover rate for these reasons. Pay is low as well.

This workplace makes you feel absolutely worthless. The management won't even bother to learn your name while still talking about you behind your back to your fellow coworkers. Occasionally you will be kept at the store until 2-4am with no overtime pay. Expect to have your hours randomly cut all the time while also struggling to get approved for requested days off. Work environment is extremely toxic and depressing. 

I was let go without cause just before the strike ( because of business need. I was there for over a year and should’ve had sonority against any new staff that they previously hired. I got them over 40 positive reviews on the service I have to the customers. The employees were nice and I made a few friends. How ever they don’t train properly in my opinion. I don’t think I should’ve been let go at all. All ways new management and a lot of people will properly be quitting due to the poor management

Not bad if you want to start as a budtender, definitely would not want to work here as a manager or asm as it is a major headache. Head office is constantly changing their policies and say there isn't enough money to give managers raises but instead buy out 4 other cannabis stores...

Also customers are a royal pain in some locations but total gems in others. Definitely on a neighborhood by neighborhood basis.

Working at Imagine Cannabis has been really fun. We have a lot of cool regulars that come in daily to buy stuff and even just say hi! They bring their dogs in as well. We always make sure we have treats for the them! The tips are better than I thought they would be and my manager even let's us try some of the new products for free once we are clocked out. 

Working at Imagine cannabis is the best. They pay great, there are so many benefits working for this company. They have some of the best bosses I have ever had. The company makes you feel appreciated. You have a direct line to the HR team and the owners. I would highly recommend this company to everyone!! 

I have learned a lot while working for Imagine Cannabis, I have a great supporting upper management and leadership team. There is a lot of opportunity for growth here as we continue to expand. Imagine is a great place to work if you are looking to broaden your skillset and management style. I plan on being here for a very long time. 

This is by far the worst job i have ever worked. 

Management was hostile, unsupportive and generally lacking in basic management skills. Communication is lacking and usually rude

The lack of support and task completion often would result in extra work for employees

overall this location is not the best for budtenders and people with self worth
