ITM is a family owned an operated company that values its employees. If you put in the time and effort you are rewarded in the long term and could possibly move into bigger & better roles. The company is continuously growing every year which is good in this economy. 

Workplace culture is relaxed and the team is great to work with. At times you can be very very busy but this just makes the day move more quickly. At these times is important to be very familiar with all aspects of the work processes or you will be overwhelmed. Navigating a computer and inventory system is key!

Vacation is standard at two weeks with five sick days that can be used as vacation if not used for sick days. I believe after 5 years three weeks Vacation and 5 sick days. And supposedly four weeks eventually. 

It is difficult to learn all the different products, But you can find certain segments and become a specialist in them making you a valued team asset. 

ITM has excellent processes that can make the job easier when they are learned. At the beginning this can be hard.

During my time with the company, I found that workload expectations were often unrealistic and communication from management could be inconsistent. Tasks were sometimes reassigned or expanded beyond the original role without adequate guidance or support, which created a stressful and confusing work environment. Feedback was not always delivered constructively, and on most occasions, interactions with management involved raised voices and remarks to personal integrity, which contributed to a tense atmosphere. Overall, the experience was challenging due to a lack of clear communication and supportive leadership.

Inequality of work division while time to complete work was expected to be shorter.

Very poor. Management was not clear with expectations.

Non ergonomic work positions under pressure.

I've been working at ITM Instruments for over 6 years and I can't believe how much we have grown but still managed to stay such a tight knit family group. Walking in every morning feels like a home away from home. When someone asks you how your evening was, they actually want to know!

I've learned so much in my time here and have so much more to learn. From simple personal skills such as communicating efficiently to more technical aspects such as learning new web coding or new software to work in.

This is honestly a really great place to work. The team feels supportive and welcoming, and people genuinely want to see each other succeed. Management notices the effort you put in and makes sure you feel appreciated, while also encouraging you to keep learning and growing. There’s a healthy balance between working hard and having a life outside of work, which makes a big difference. It’s the kind of environment where you feel respected, included, and proud of the work you’re doing.

Coordinated with the development team to evaluate and improve software • Adjusted software parameters to boost performance and incorporate new features. • Created Technical documentations • Translated technical concepts and information into terms all parties could easily comprehend. • Maintained existing applications and designed and delivered new applications. • Collaborated on all stages of systems development lifecycle, from requirement gathering to production releases.

I really enjoyed working at ITM. The family that runs the company are great. Management is friendly and helpful in training. It can gets busy  so multi tasking is key but the day goes by quickly. You have autonomy to work on your own and no one is constantly looking over your shoulder. 

As a website designer, the hardest part is figure how to make thing happen - either the coding or the graphic. Therefore, the idea of how to use all kind of resource to do the research is important to me. But the people around here always love to help and always give some practical suggestion and help.
