As the title says, dont waste your time or energy here. Its crazy how much of a toxic environment it is here. Main issues I found working here was lack of direction - owner is constantly changing the approach along with targets. Because of the lack of direction the owner and management feel the only way to get results is through micro-management. Your constantly behind therefore you will need to work overtime during the week and even weekends - this will be expected of you so dont be expecting any extra pay! Salary offered here is way below market, maybe 3 or 4 Canadians work here and thats due to all foreign workers trying to attain their PR meaning they cant leave! The company has been operating since 2018, you wont find anyone bar management who are there longer than 2 years - management are puppets to the owner here. Only positive I found here were the people I worked with. Seeing mental breakdowns here is a common occurrence. I really feel bad for the people working here as they have no other options.

The first couple of days at ivey was great, I got a great sense of comradery and professionalism. After the first week, the cracks started to show! Targets began to change on a weekly basis, sometimes without your knowledge. The owner's only way to operate is to micro-mange people. The people he has hired in upper management are 'yes' people unfortunately. I was expected to work overtime and not be paid for this. Also, I was expected to use my own car for travelling and when the owner felt I did not travel enough, he refused to pay any expenses!
My boiling point was when I seen him talk down to individuals, sometimes in a companywide meeting! Its really unfortunate as most people working here are very nice and trying to accomplish their permanent residency in Canada. It was almost a guarantee someone would be either fired or quit on a WEEKLY basis.

I started my journey with IVEY Group as a contractor and become a full time employee later. IVEY always helped me to grow. I have got opportunities to attend events representing the company, which for me as an Immigrant who starts to build my career is a big support. IVEY always supports me if I need to learn about anything. Everyone in IVEY believe in the core values and live on that. 
IVEY offers summer wellness hours(paid), employee engagement activities, great benefit package and moreover  annual travel credit ( I can use this annual travel credit money to go and  meet my family every year who lives miles apart).
I'm always thankfull for IVEY for trusting in me and for giving me an opportunity to start and build my career straight out of school.

Daily team virtual meetings  are important to be connected with colleagues. With my team,I   have created a powerful family. The macromanagement  I have have has the right balance to make me feel  human and  professional.   Yes, I belive there are always spaces to improve and become better in all what we do. Our different cultures, ages, values, etc give the richness of what we are and what we project to the world . Receiving possitive comments from clients feeds my soul and touches bottom of every single day`s purposes.
The values that IVEY has make me feel that I am a fish swimming in the right ocean.  I am very grateful and happy for this  opportunity which arrived in the right moment of my life.

A great industry to work in but I would not say the same about this company. Its a very stressful job with a lot of people quitting or being fired on a regular basis. The targets here are very unrealistic, you are expected to work minimum 2+ hours a day - which you will not be compensated for. Most people who work here are foreign and trying to get their permanent residency so they cant leave, hence the reason for a couple of Canadians working here. The people who work here are very nice people, however, this cannot be said about the owner and upper management. I would say stay clear of here for your mental health! I would also be wary of 5-star reviews here as they are untrue. Also, being paid the correct amount was always an issue here too.

This is a highly stressful job, the salary offered here is in no way rewarding due to overtime(no extra pay) and a horrid work environment created by overbearing managers and owner. There is no clear sense of direction and it can be hard to stay positive with such a high employment turnover. All managers here are the owners puppets. There have been multiple times that I was paid incorrectly which took a lot of back and forth to receive the correct amount. You will be talked down to quiet a lot, even by the owner! If you were to speak to anyone at ivey group, present over past, you will be instructed to stay away. I would not work here knowing what I do now for my mental health!

This is not a healthy or fun place to work. I wish there were real reviews listed before I started, I have since found out the 5-star reviews are not legitimate. My reasons for such a poor opinion of this company is how you are treated. Low pay, high targets, horrible health and benefits package and a high turnover in staff. Honestly, I have never worked for such a bad company, owner and manager. If you are reading this and considering interviewing for this company, I highly recommend you go on LinkedIn and reach out to literally anyone who has ever worked here and ask for their opinion and I'm pretty sure you will not get a 5-star recommendation.

Forget your creative freedom, forget your time punches, forget your work life balance, expect a lot of passive aggressive behaviour. 85% of staff has changed in the last three months, including one of the founding members. Simply the worst place to waste your life in. Unless they change their management style from family owned to a more diverse environment with actual experts, the company is not going to survive long term. Your first few days, you’ll get an impression of extreme professionalism, which later on reveals itself as a desperate attempt to look professional. The only hard working person there is the actual lawyer, everybody else is a distraction.

Working at IVEY Group was one of the worst experiences of my life. The work environment is beyond toxic—there is zero respect for employees, no transparency, and absolutely no communication. Management expects blind compliance, offering little to no support or clarity.

The culture is filled with misinformation, and constant stress. Employees are overworked, undervalued, and left in the dark about important decisions. There is no room for growth, and any attempt to voice concerns is met with indifference or hostility.

If you care about your mental health and career development, stay far away from this company. You will regret ever stepping foot in this place!


I started to work for IVEY Group as a contractor and they helped me to come to Canada and bring my family here. I will always feel very grateful for that. All departments are good at IVEY, but immigration team is amazing! Great supportive Manager, who is demanding, but very intelligent and fair, always ready to help and share her knowledge.  
Flexible working schedule allows to work in the office and from home, welcoming and positive atmosphere in the office, great employee engagement committee. 
In general, good place to learn and develop as a professional.
