A typical day at work involves engaging with cross-functional teams, solving complex challenges, and delivering impactful solutions. The management is supportive, though communication around promotions and feedback could be more transparent. The workplace culture is inclusive, fostering teamwork and innovation, which makes it a great place to grow professionally.
The hardest part of the job is balancing competing priorities during tight deadlines. However, the most enjoyable part is the satisfaction of delivering solutions and collaborating with customer.

Not very talent promoting environment. 
Infosys is not a bad company, it is an average company. 

The challenge with working through a firm like that, is that a large portion of their workforce is very low quality. They are a bodyshop, interesting in putting a warm body in seats to make consulting dollars. Firms hire Infosys to save money over having internal employees. There are other consulting firms brought in for their expertise, but I have yet to see a project where Infosys was anything other than a cost saving measure for warm bodies.

Even if you are a fantastic developer, many will assume the experience on your resume is low quality.

You are far better off being the stupidest person on a Google development team, than being the strongest developer at Infosys or similar bodyshops. As in 10 years time when applying for a job, someone is reviewing your experience based on the firm you worked at.

From personal experience, I have the best managers and colleagues. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Some departments of the company are a pain! They keep on changing their policies and expect us to get the required approvals every time . They just cannot accept the previous approval which we got my multiple follow ups.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Since my manager is good, I love my work. But, opinion might change based on who you report to.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Reaching office, getting your assigned tasks done, going back home. Even this changes with clients as some clients might expect you to stay late & get everything done while some clients are easy going.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Worst Management that I came across in my life - dirty politics, toxic environment, once they get chance they will replace you by bringing cheap resources from overseas, Management is have very bossy mindset without any ethics . Don't work for such cheap people .

Working hours and bossy management

Toxic and very cheap people, no ethics no values, they expect you to work like a slave 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Very stressed and toxic environment, management don't have anything except micro management, even you make complaints, no one will listen you.

The talent among our project members was amazing and it was fun to work with such talented people. Every day was challenging to solve customer issues and a lot of barnstorming sessions where we share ideas to solve a problem.
Cross functional training was an added advantage while working with Infosys. We get to learn different technologies and how they work together in a real environment.
The hardest thing was to work in shifts. End of the day it all boils down to customer satisfaction and the pain of working in shifts goes away when you see a happy customer sending a good feedback for the work that you did.

I am working for retirement process (retirement income fund). Our COH brought this process as challenge; because this is the difficult process in whole BMO .It includes tax calculations as per Canada revenue agency.

- I am doing EFT transfer, Cash transfers and security transfers with deducting appropriate tax amount.
- I am interacting onshore people on outlook as well as quarterly call.
- I am the authorized Auditor for my team.
- I did root cause analysis to improve quality
-I am reporting MIS for my team as well as handling queue.
- I know how to prepare SOP (standard operating procedure).
- I am working as trainer

Was hired at the end of COVID. The company over-hired compared to the actual demand from Canadian clients. After training, most of my batch were left sitting idle with little to no guidance on what to do for upwards of a year. 

If you wanted a relaxed job with no quotas or instructions with decent pay it was an alright experience. It was essentially being paid to learn relevant tech. Otherwise it was a very alienating experience and was exceptionally difficult to get information from the company on what you should actually be doing.

Good policy & process framework for better corporate governance.

Salary benefits to middle tier i.e. technology oriented employee bracket & middle management is slightly less as compared to industry.

Large employee base makes the internal progression and promotion somewhat sluggish.

Otherwise, good company to stay with where you will find work life balance.

Management has been a mess since day one. Assigned manager was on leave and took me a week worth of communication to successfully connect to  your manager. On boarding sessions are all over the place. (e.g. I was only assigned to the session for timesheet 2 weeks after joining the company, where timesheet has to be summited after first week). Seems like they are lacking opportunity within Canada so good luck if you have no working right outside Canada, especially the US.

I have worked in 4 companies , however, the worst company to work in Infosys, the management are very worst and HR is completely weird guys. They Don't have much projects and  these USELESS Management never try to bring the projects. They are befriending HR and sustain in job. They terminated bench people and not even providing any supporting in getting projects. However, if you are friend of HR, you will sustain. USELESS HR AND MANAGEMENT.
