Infrastructure Canada gives meaningful tasks to its student workers, and the environment in the company is enjoyable to work in. The job makes sure to improve many different skills for the student (ex: creating spreadsheets, conducting presentations, etc.) and expose them to the basics of an office job.

Relatively new team that lacked direction, organization and goals from director. Nice team members, but the major lack of organization made it so at the end of the week everyone from students, juniors, seniors, management, and director were scrambling to finish

Not an interesting work environment, spent many days doing nothing or waiting around. Very small department, and not a lot of young people working. Everyone seems to be waiting for retirement. 

Great department for anyone interested working in the public sector. Work was a little boring as an admin assistant but if you can get on full time there lots of opportunity for advancement. Great for student jobs

Great place to work at, great people also is a perfect field to learn about politics, policy making, law making as well as question period in parliamentary sessions.

Loved the environment and the people I worked with.
Work was interesting and I learned alot.
Was a fun and productive workplace.
Nice people I worked with- got help when needed.

Hours are good. pay is also good for the work. Hardest part can be staying on top of requests but most are simple and easy tasks to accomplish.  More challenging work is given when asked. 

Management and atmosphere was great albeit for a few bad apples. Great location in ottawa so you’re close to everything. All an all, a good place to work

Both the Program branch and the Policy group are chaotic and management pushes junior employees to work over the weekend most of the time.
