If you like working at a crazy pace,  and doing extra work with out getting credit for it then this is place for you.   I've never worked for a place that treats it's employees like meat.  Its greatly encouraged to just do what you're told and don't rock the boat,. If you decided to speak up or out about any concerns you may have then enjoy being given the crappiest dirtiest Jobs in there.  Was a great company about 10yrs ago but new management have made it a nightmare place to work.

When you start out as a trainee, you learn many things. You are responsible for keeping your area clean and tidy, making boxes, filling boxes and warehousing the boxes using an HU barcode some machines have many feeders to be kept full and change over on jobs. You need a good preparation to make things go smoothly lot of training provided for fall rest safety forklift and more provided on-site

So much is asked from us. We're already busy, but they keep giving us more tasks. Working in the lab is the worst part! Most supervisors and lead hands are great, but management is terrible. You never see them, but when you do they end up making your job much more difficult. Always increasing speeds of the extruders. Wanting more from us everyday. People are constantly getting injured but yet we have a 10 year no loss time. 

Highly corrupt management team here. Don't hurt yourself here and file a form 8 with the WSIB they will make sure u don't come back! Zero tolerance policy is only in place as a means of catching someone they want gone for the smallest infraction and firing them immediately. Good luck here lol! Turnover rate is continuous. Swing shifts 2 weeks days 2 weeks nights on continental. Can we get worse? Doubtful!

It might not be  perfect place for everybody, but not a Bad place to be

is climbing the third level  floor of the production machine

Multitasking under stringent timelines test the ability to think on your feet to achieve results.
Coordination and organizational skills a key driver of efficient output.
Routine activities are interspersed with the situations of adapting and learning as you go which helped to hone thinking skills.

Overall a pretty good job. You will earn your pay it is not easy. Can be dirty at times but that comes with heavy manufacturing. Hot in summer/cold in winter. Pay is average with industry rates for the work being performed. Continental work schedule. Organization and communication from management has room for improvement. 

Learn to operate extruders and other plastics processing equipment, training is on the job. Like any good manufacturer Managers are always pushing for improvement so there is no slacking in this job.  

This compamy is dirty and very unhealthy. Lead dust , silica dust is everywhere . They want you to work as fast as you can with little or no training . Half the supervisors have no supervisory experience and seem to be in the position because the experienced ones quit or got demoted .
