Coming out of University with little to none experience in the "office work setting" you could say I was very nervous for my first day. Not knowing how things worked or even having a clue what this company did for their main source of revenue, the employees, president in company all welcomed me with open arms and made the transition very easily. The environment at Inline is a fun one to be apart of.  Everyone brings positive energy into the work space and everyone communicates and is willing to help which has been amazing for me personally. In the beginning I did not know if I would be able to handle any type of responsibilities but as the time went on and with the support around me, I feel like I am able to hold my own!

The tip of the iceberg is that they work remote there is a core that don’t show appreciation and respect and conversation on the phone. It’s proven that they don’t have the aptitude to be in the position they’re in. They were promoted because of nepotism you can’t train character and those that are in the shareholder group will be the core of their management until the company is sold You are fighting an uphill battle . I’ve never seen such poor communication combined with an unprofessional approach to managing workplace conflicts create a bad environment. Future employees should proceed with care when considering this employer I was so thrilled when I first started, until the toxic gossip started. If you have any other opportunities please explore them before ever coming here

The company places a huge emphasis on team building and events but having to sit through a 20 min share your feelings get together each morning is a bit much. The leadership is sketchy and seems disorganized. I could get better answers from google than the managers. You have to figure things out on your own for the most part. No training given or offered. You all work in the same 20x20 room with no privacy if you wanted to make a phone call. Anyone who has an illness or habit bothers everyone else. (ie scented items) .I was hired away from another position but laid off just before the one year mark because they said I was too expensive and to avoid any kind of severance. No notice given of layoff. Not impressed with the company.

Chaotic, leadership doesn’t know what they’re doing, they are all a bunch of bros and if you aren’t, you will never be valued. What seems to be valued is length of time at the company, sometimes. They are quick to point blame and not discuss issues, they’ll hire and layoff without a care in the world. They do like to pay for flights from the east coast though if you’re into that. Company is in a constant phase of change and restructuring so you never know who to report to, and then you’re supposed to take orders from a dozen others that you aren’t directly reporting to. They’ll spend money on the wildest things but not on safety equipment or things to help employees do their jobs. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
Documentation process, lots of  documentation- vehicle inspection, FLHA writing, updating. If not done, due to busy schedule, get scolded or warned. You are being watched constantly, making you lose focus and  slow your own pace of work.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Lack of resources, lack of facilities to do things effectively and efficiently

Seems ok. It is reactive. Once things go wrong, then managers react.

The culture in the company is a huge part of why I enjoy going to the office to work every morning, even with the WFH hybrid option! Inline Group does a great job with social events by not only including those local to Edmonton but also those who live on the other side of the country. Upper management has been transparent with the company's goals and direction and asks for feedback. Employee compensation is great - yearly PPE allowance for field staff, yearly training allowance for all staff, and a matching RRSP program. I am in my current position because Inline Group invests in their people and looks to promote within first.

Inline Group is a great company to work for. They are quickly expanding across Canada and offer employees high growth potential. Inline Group invests in their people and gives their staff many opportunities to grow. Throughout my time at Inline, I have taken three online courses that have helped me expand my knowledge. 

The staff and owners are all amazing people and welcome you with open arms. I have really enjoyed my time with Inline and have grown so much as a student and a person. 


I've worked with Inline for 12 years, and there's a reason for that. I'm treated like a person, not a number. Upper management has always treated me respect and courtesy. Since my career in the oil sands has started, this is by far the best company I've worked for, hence the 12 years in the same spot. You're never going to please everyone all the time, that's virtually impossible, but there are a lot of us who have been with the company a long time, and I think that in itself speaks volumes.
