The job was exhausting. Minimal hours, maximum work, understaffed and overworked employees, lots of work to be done in very minimal time makes for a stressful and frustrating work experience every day. Not only was my work making me miserable but I was also experiencing inappropriate and off putting run ins with a specific coworker and nothing was done when I brought this to the attention of management. It is unfortunate that other women and men have to suffer working in such poor conditions. Not to mention during the summer it is super hot and during winter it is very cold and there is no heating in certain parts of buildings and major drafts that make working conditions brutal and freezing and almost impossible to complete a shift without taking your jacket off. Just miserable. So glad I quit 

The staff is extremely friendly and the atmosphere is fantastic. The restaurant and hotel have a laid back country inn vibe. It is a Vintage Inns property, so there are a number of different opportunities within the hospitality industry. The entire organization works hard to offer not only stunning properties but exceptional customer service for their guests. The company taught me a lot about attention to detail. I however was looking for something more fast paced with a higher earning potential so I only work here on the weekends.

Being a hospitality destination every work day can be unpredictable. Family owned company allows for staff to be individuals but does limit your growth potential. With 75% of buisness being done during the summer months you must be a great multi tasker with above average time management skills. Working a variety of shifts does not allow for much of a home life that would be the hardest part of the job. I was given the opportunity to improve my customer relation and brand building skills.

I loved being a part of this team. Everyone would work together to get things done. The team would constantly build each other up and praise when things were done right and constructively help when they weren't. Growing within the company is possible as well. You can start as a dishwasher and become a part of the kitchen. Depending on your seniority in the kitchen, hours were the only con to working here (as they are a kitchen, help is employed dependent on customers in house).

Engaging with clients/guests either in person or on the phone. Booking spa services, dinner arrangemnts, hotel stay, etc. Professionally corresponding to guest inquiries and requests. Great management support. Learned to be task oriented in a fast-paced work environment. Love meeting new people each day.

i found that inn on the twenty was a fast paced high energy restaurant. i greatly improved my management skills further learned on computer systems and training new employees. the most enjoyable part of the job was the customers interaction.

Great experience working as a Baker at the Inn on the Twenty restaurant. Management is not particularly inspiring to people just starting in the profession. Overall, I liked the people and the menu, learned lots of great baking skills. 

A quality restaurant providing an enjoyable experience to both employees and customers. A typical day would include serving breakfast, bussing for lunch/dinner, as well as setting up for banquets and weddings.

Staff has turned over, not sure if it's the same. But from 2016-2020 the staff was amazing to work with. Free meals were plentiful and the head-chef cared about their employees.

Fast paced environment but never overwhelming. Staff and management are always helpful making it a good place to work. Hours are never too long but they give you more than enough and tips are plentiful.
