Working at inter-city diesel is not bad if we’re only talking about the coworker Parts they will be more than happy to show you what to do. as soon as you start dealing with higher-ups like supervisors and Managers It gets very VERY rocky They’re always fighting among themselves and go against each other‘s words leaving you worried as to what to do next. Sadly the ceo is in denial of these issues. There are two shifts to work on the first team Should be avoided at all costs Mostly because of nepotistic management. Second team you’d wanna buy a drink for everyone. I believe the company is on the verge of greatness but holds itself back with denial mixed pride.

Inner City Diesel is a great place to work. Contrary to some of the reviews, the owners and upper management actually care. 

I feel that there are certain areas within the company where most of the negative reviews are coming from. There are certain managers and field supervisors that are too worried about making themselves look good or throwing others under the bus, rather than the wellbeing of their employees, or ensuring the success of their own contracts.

There's lots of opportunity to advance at ICD, like any other company, you have to prove your worth.

The people are awesome for the most part

What is the best part of working at the company?
Lying, cheating, not your family orientated stay away hurt many guys and the leadership is terrible just stay away

Leadership don’t believe a thing they say at all

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Some people not to bad but management, liars

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I bent over backwards cleaning setting up keeping busy, making filter lists and so on. Setting up inventory. Preparing for quick work to get parts on free time when nothing to do and then they lie through there teeth

What is the best part of working at the company?
Amazing place to work,  my favourite job I have ever had. Had to leave because of medical reasons but I hope to be healthy and back to work for them sooner then later.

Nothing,  great crew, great equipment

They show you the most upright trust and respect

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Show up and i am trusted to get my job done, if I have any questions someone is always there to guide me.

A typical day at work: traveling throughout the mine performing various repairs on all mining equipment. 

What I have learned: If a man built it, a man can fix it.

Management: Positive relationships between management and employees.

Co-workers: Hardworking knowledgeable co-workers.

Hardest part of my job: Budgetary constraints.

The most enjoyable part of my job: Seeing a good job well done and through to the end.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The few people that care about the company make it easier to go to work. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The people, the owners, the leadership team not on same page, they are all about themselves 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Culture is a joke, there is none. A few of the supervisors who have been with the company are the only reason they have work. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Days went ok, you make the most of it

It was a typical 12 hour day but we had company trucks that would pick you up in the morning and drop you off.  Crew I worked with was phenomenal, obviously you have a little bit of drama here and there but overall was a great place to work.

Learned a lot on that job, everyone from top to bottom in the company that I met was awesome. There’s really nothing negative to say other than working 12 hours is long.

Been a great place to work and 14x14 shift is great, work life balance is good. 
There are lots of long term employees who have been around a long time that I am learning lots from and are fun to work with. 
There is lots of opportunity to move up and to different projects in AB and BC. 
Good honest management that has struggled sometimes dealing with a very fast growing company. 
Hard working crews of people, very safety orientated. 
Working on lots of different types of equipment. 



Every division is a cluster. Enjoy being promised electric chain hoists for a year, enjoy the joys of boats, joys of water pumps and lack of parts and long delay. enjoy a welding bay that shared open space with engine building,
Great accommodations! Great co workers hardest working and hilarious!! They help you more than management does
Hard work is their middle name. Fontaine4life 

Not a very good environment for mechanics, revolving door and management have little experience with daily activities. No winter clothing or boot allowances, I would highly recommend looking elsewhere for mechanic work. Great opportunity for pump operators to gain field experience and move on
