Typical Day: Update everyone -  clients, team lead, and do so at the clients whim or else expect management escalation and possible action against you.

Learned: After training you are mostly on your own, the training doesn't begin unless you are able to search out answers to client questions yourself. Expect to deal with Proprietary systems you may have never touched or know anything about even after training.

Management: There for themselves, earn too much and questionable decisions are made.

Workplace culture: People do their tasks, some time to talk among peers, fairly laid back if not bogged down with work, people available to assist when they aren't busy.

Hardest part of the job: Not knowing the other proprietary products you were never trained on but have to support anyway.

Most enjoyable part of the job: Work from home most of the time after initial training.

Hours 8-4,9-5,10-6,11-7 depending on who is in, typically Eastern times

What is the best part of working at the company?
Great management. Management is responsive, spontaneous, transparent and cares for the workers.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Uncertainty about the future of your role: I was terminated along with more than 24 colleagues after only 3 months on a major contract, at short notice.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Friendly and open; very modern.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
8 - 10 hours of very detail-oriented work, with about 30% of the time spent doing research or work not directly related to the project(s) worked on (e.g., admin).

I worked as a Senior Instructional Designer. I have been doing this for 25 years but yy Senior manager was an insecure micro-manager who knew nothing of instructional design and second-guessed every decision I made. He also got in between me and the client and simply sabotaged the entire project by contradicting what the client wanted. I would not recommend any contractor to work there. It might be different if you are full time but stay clear of any Instructional Design jobs where they need you to liaise with a corporate client.

I never met a manager. I met my pod lead once. There is no support. They give you a computer that you have to set it up, this should be done already. It was a cold and impersonal place to work. I got fired I never got a reason why. I have never worked at a place where you have absolutely no job security at all. They will fire you and leave you out in the cold. The worst job I've ever had. Please avoid these people they will use you underpay you and dump you without warning and without cause. I suspect they are covering for there bad management.

Unfortunately Innovatia is beholden to a few companies it has contacts with, and at the end of the day, any failings that Innovatia has is it tries to please a bit too hard, and its on the back of Innovatia employees, does Innovatia's masters stay barely afloat. If not for this, Innovatia would be a wonderful place to work.

Innovatia is a solid place to work. It has a more technical side and a more creative side. It constantly is looking for new clients to work with, so the opportunity to learn and do new and interesting things is always present as Innovatia staffs these new contracts.

However, due to the nature of the contracts, this also leads to turnover as those contracts expire or the client's business is affected by outside forces.

pay range was on the low side and basically no raises. I am sorry a 1% raise if you are lucky. I mean minimum wage went up by 7.7% last year. 

The management "team" most are not technical so they do not 
have a full understanding of the product they support. Some of them would rather micromanage everything. or even contradict what the other said. The "supervisor" really only supervises his own cell phone be it taking personal calls or playing games.

If enjoying your work environment is most important to you they are great at providing this. The downside to working here is that many positions have high-stress levels. If excellent compensation for your work is important though look elsewhere, pay here is far below average.

Management, culture, benefits, atmosphere and people are all great (my dissatisfaction was with the account I was working for).
The pay is relatively low for work in IT, but not that low for New Brunswick, so it would be a good start if you're fresh off uni/college. Plus, if you put your mind into it, you can learn a lot in short span of time.

Good management but low salary and benefits.
Working hours are good and work load is not that heavy.
Good part about the job is that you have option to work from home.
But salary wise its is not the best.
Not even competitive.
It is good for initial start and work experience.
