Day-to-Day Work
My schedule varies—some days I'm in the community seeing 3-4 clients in their homes, other days I have one session then work from home completing reports. The flexibility is great, though the inconsistent routine takes adjustment. Travel between community visits adds up, but working with clients in their actual environments is incredibly valuable.

What I Learned
Community-based work taught me to be resourceful and adapt quickly to different home environments. My documentation skills improved significantly with dedicated time for thoughtful report writing rather than rushing notes between sessions.

Management & Culture
Management is supportive and trusts our autonomy, which is essential for community work. The team is collaborative despite working remotely much of the time. Work-life balance is genuinely respected.

Challenges
The isolation can be tough—some days it's just me and my laptop writing reports for hours. The varying schedule (busy community days vs. quiet admin days) and solo work require self-motivation.

Best Part
Seeing clients in their real environments and providing solutions that fit their actual lives is incredibly rewarding. The flexibility to work from home and having time for quality documentation is a major perk. Progress in someone's own home feels especially meaningful.

I have been working at Innovative since April 2023. Over the last 1.5 years, I have grown to be a better therapist and human due to having the most supportive and knowledgeable management team, being provided with a diverse caseload full of opportunities, and having access to ongoing education.  The managers truly care about your health, well-being, and growth as a person. They encourage you to try new things while supporting you throughout.  Thanks to Innovative, I now feel confident in my abilities to think creatively and push beyond the boundaries of the system to provide the best possible care to clients. 

I felt compelled to write a review after reading a negative one and loving this company! I have worked as an administrator for the last year with the company in a remote position. The company is extremely personable and grateful for performance. It is a service based industry so responsiveness is essential. Culture is positive but more challenging working remote where it is harder to have a personal connection. The owners are very flexible and personable. I have worked along side hires who were not successful in their roles. It did come down to productivity challenges working from home. I also need to add when a loved one passed they sent me flowers, on my birthday they sent me a gift, they show me I am valued. 

This company has helped me continue to learn and develop my skills as an Occupational Therapist. The auto insurance sector can be challenging, but the collaborative approach within the company helps everyone excel. I have worked at other companies in this industry, and I feel much more supported here. The managers/owners are supportive, approachable, and ensure that we produce an excellent quality of work. There is an endless amount of resources and tools to use with my clients and to continue to learn. Monthly group zooms cover a variety of topics to learn about the industry, new resources, and common topics to address with clients. It's a great place to work and I look forward to continuing to grow.
