Insight Global

While working with Insight Global I was assigned to the RBC account as a Windows Consultant with GOCC, and had little to no one on one interaction with Insight Global and was more working day to day within RBC. 
The first con I would suggest is that the hours promised were not the hours given and no mention of back shifts until after training. 
There was also continuous  promise of the position becoming full time, which did not occur and after extending the contract for 4 months ended the contract after 2 months into the extension with less than a months notice. 

The atmosphere was the biggest positive of working at RBC as all the employees I had the privileged were friendly and supportive and a pleasure to work with.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Currently waiting for an assignment, but overall the people that I am contact with are helpful and patient

Waiting for my next assignment

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
I had only one assignment while I am at this company, but overall, at least there is a way I can reach my contact and they are mostly available.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Not applicable... it depends on where I am placed

Salary is laughable… they are taking 45% of my salary. As it stands right now, i will have to look for employment elsewhere or maybe apply directly through the company they are recruiting out despite the company itself paying market rate. I have worked with many recruiters before but Insight Global has the most predatory wage split i have ever seen. They also made me pay into their benefit program as if taking almost half my salary wasn’t enough for them

At first it all seems fun and friendly, then you see that they don’t train you properly and if you choose to continue your own activities after work Instead if going out with them every week they fire you. Huge clique problem, poor management, poor leadership, false promises of advancement, awful work hours.

Me and few other people were hired from this agency for a big company. The agents never follow  up with you. If you have questions and email them they will never get back to you unless you call them. In terms of pay being offered by them, there are a lotttt of better offer out there for the same position. If you have other option don't go with this agency.

Overall Insight Global is a great place to start your career out of University. It gives the chance to pursue sales or specialize in recruitment and you are given a lot for autonomy for starting your career. What you put in is what you get out. 

Great people to work with and culture is very important. But the goals needed to get promoted seem to always change which can be very frustrating. Overall it is great but I’ve seen people get into a rut and end up quitting. 

Very unprofessional, will text and call your phone number OUTSIDE WORK HOURS then use it against you if you don’t respond as such. Unprofessional staff with shady business practices all to make a sale (placements). Would use other recruitment services

Worked a subcontract for Insight global with major banking firm. Wasnt satisfied with the level of service the insight provided and was left to my own devices with subcontractor pretty much.
